I still like Marina better (she throws shade) but Pearl is definitely not as bad as people made her right after their reveal. Plus I like mayo more than ketchup so currently I'm team Pearl
Fun fact: at cheap Japanese restaurants, the "wasabi" they give you is actually horseradish with green food coloring. Wasabi ain't cheap, so it's only at the classier ones that'll give you the real stuff.

Ditto. I rarely eat ketchup or mayo. But its goddamn scary how much mustard i use throughout a month.
I'm on ketchup but I don't love it. I put mustard on damn near everything, it's the almighty condiment.
But the reason why I'm on team ketchup is I do eat ketchup on stuff like fries and shit, but I mever eat mayo. I hate it and think it's disgusting.
I did that my first time. I still have nightmares

Yes and no.
So long as I'm leveling something I don't feel too bad using stuff other than the Splatfest Tee in Turf War. And if I'm in Ranked I use sets that are already maxed out and feel no obligation.
Oh and yeah Pearl is great. Both are great, but Pearl is certainly a better character than a lot of people will give credit for.

Seems like pearl is upbeat and energetic kinda like Callie and Marina a bit more laid back and sarcastic like Marie.
Altho they are ofcourse not exactly the same personality wise. They are still different just some things in common. Marie = lazy Marina = Shy etc.

Finally played some decent amount of Salmon Run. Gets pretty intense, felt too easy at first but after a few hours of grinding it you start seeing some really difficult waves. Definitely a good mode, though it seems like you really need to grind it a lot to get the good rewards?
Also how/when is adding slots unlocked? The guy just says he's busy when I ask.
What's the purpose of scrubbing the splatfest tee as opposed to unlocking abilities for others?

After this first splatfest is over is when that option is going to open up. You will use sea snails you get from the event to pay for slots. People like to scrub this shirt since it's the cheapest and with scrubbing you get to pick exactly what abilities you want and on what item. It still takes a while to earn enough chunks but it's better than hoping you randomly land on a triple slot ability that you use on a piece of gear you really like.

At Profreshional rank, you can rake in 100+ eggs each match, just by hitting the target scores.
12 matches on the hardest difficulty is still a bit stressful, but it's way better than the Splatfest grind (not looking forward to that)

think starting to fall off this game. Its fun when it works but doesn't seem to for me any more. Maybe 2 out of 10 rounds have 4v4 most of the time its 4v3 or 3v4. The lvl grind is insane as well. I'm at lvl 15 now and just seeing the drip of exp in that bar after a 3v4 loss (even if my score is in the 1000s) is just soul crushing.
I haven't tested, but it seems to be indefinite?
