They are exclusives; they have different main abilities.

You're paying a premium because gear ordered through Anniezon is slotted with different main abilities than the defaults you'd get in the normal stores.

And cost of shipping and Murch's cut, of course.

It has a different main ability. Sometimes they are better.

That's... super lame 😒
Thanks for the info though!

Well, there were times I considered selling my Switch but now we've come to this. GAF,I done bought Splatoon 2.

I'm not a chatty Cathy but here's my friend code: SW-4992-9679-5864

Only played one round, but it was fun! Hey, I'm laying in bed so that's a worthwhile thing.

think starting to fall off this game. Its fun when it works but doesn't seem to for me any more. Maybe 2 out of 10 rounds have 4v4 most of the time its 4v3 or 3v4. The lvl grind is insane as well. I'm at lvl 15 now and just seeing the drip of exp in that bar after a 3v4 loss (even if my score is in the 1000s) is just soul crushing.

You will see hardly any disconnects if you play Ranked, my personal experience and estimate is that 10% or less of matches have one, and you get substantially more experience for wins (and substantially less for losses.) Leveling up in Turf Wars is REALLY time consuming.

This was an anus clencher for sure

I just had a 2v2 in Tower Control. Crazy with only 4 in the entire match.

Hennies I'm here. I've been in the Discord since Splatoon on Wii U and played together with gaf from time to time, but my schedule makes it so that I only have only had time for some quick games. Hopfeully I'll have more free time coming up.

If you're interested: SW-6995-5193-9496

Also picked up these beautiful babies ;;

That is wild! I'm assuming that is a very rare event for you?

I haven't seen anything like that playing Ranked but every time I go back to Turf Wars to relax and test weapons I'm sure to see quite a few disconnects.

Edit: Never disconnected myself, wired connection rules!

I tired 1 ranked match today, 3v4 and only got like 100points at end

Granted it was my 1st and only ranked match so no clue what rewards are if u win.

Yeah, it's the first time it's happened to me in ranked. At least we won. XD

Ranked gives a max of 2500xp with a knock out win, I believe any other type of win will be 2k+.

Ya, the downside is that losses can be brutal, it is possible to get 0xp if the other team wins a round super fast. While this sucks at least you get into another game quick, haha!

Yeah, it's the first time it's happened to me in ranked. At least we won. XD

Nice!

I'm glad to hear it isn't happening often, I've been advocating for Ranked as a good mode to avoid disconnects based upon personal experience but I wouldn't want to keep doing so if other people are having lots of problems with it.

Fucking 11 losses in a row. Can't get shit going this afternoon.

EDIT: And there it is. Fucking pushed across the map wiping out their entire team all by myself. And we won. Feels good.

Page 2?

You guys are slacking :P

Anywho, just played with someone in Turf War named "coolswag" (lol) so was ink tea bagging everyone after he splatted them.

Should I report? :o

Says who? That sounds like something Nintendo would object to.

I mean, dude was on my team, but he was doing it to everyone he splatted. xD

Up to you. It definitely could fall under unsportsmanlike conduct. There's no need for the player to be a dick, a simply Booyah! covers the sentiment well enough.

If he did that shit to me while my kid was watching or I witnessed it happen while a kid was playing I probably would.

Honestly, I'm more upset that he was wasting time teabagging people (like 10 seconds a splat) when he should be inking turf right after the splat, so it directly hurt out team.

Ugh. 7 losses in a row just now. Thank god I got 1 win in with the Tri-Slosher to get the Freshness bonus for it before everything started going to shit.

I hate how Nintendo handles matchmaking in this game. Like, surely it can tell that there are 4 people que'd up in the lobby with identical weapons, right? So why put them all on the same team? That's completely asinine. If you're going to force people to stick to one weapon to remain in that lobby then you better fucking minimize the number of times you stick people with the same weapon on the same team. Otherwise it's just a constant game of "I'd like to use the Aerospray for a bit. Oh 5 other people in this lobby are using it. Let me try this other one. Oh 5 other people in this one are also using it. Fuck this."

Played some absolutely rugged matches earlier today, people were styling left and right and my aim in fights I know I could win
but didn't
was terrrrrrrible. Then that frustration led into me playing worse and the cycle continued lmao. Picked up some nice looking gear at least, and managed to get a freshness bonus by virtue of my team carrying my broken squid body to victory.

Been playing with the splattershot today after maining tri slosher and my aim is surprisingly ok. Great gun too. I like it better than the Pro. Still a ton of work needed in close up encounters but it's good fun.

two trisloshers on the opposing team in makes me want to die

Has anyone gone back to Splatoon 1 after playing this? Is it worth going back even if you have Splatoon 2? Bet alot of people will switch back and forth between the two, or ditch 2 to go back to 1, etc

Yeah, they gotta do something about how they calculate weapon proficiency and freshness values, because no matter how good you get with any weapon it's a total crapshoot whether or not you'll win enough matches in a row to get those freshness bonuses.

It's completely unfair that I can get 1000+ points and 10+ kills multiple games in a row but still lose freshness points just because the rest of the people on my team are garbage.
There's a wrinkle in this: it's easier to get a super high individual score if your team is garbage, since odds are there will be more parts of the map left un-inked for you to go after. I find I only hit the really high scores (1,200+) when someone has DC'd early on in the match...

Weapon proficiency should be measured by ink on the ground, regardless of win or loss.

Furthermore, people on a team of 3 should not be penalized for losing against a team of 4.

Starting to realize that the Splattershot is actually ass. Every other weapon kills me in one hit but this gun takes four shots to kill people. I need to find something new. Maybe the ridiculously overpowered Octobrush.

I don't have a WiiU anymore, but if i did, I would probably play Splatoon once in awhile to:

-Experience the old broken supers and better maps
-Play the story mode (mainly just the final boss)
-Watch Squid Sisters concerts in the Splatfest plaza (with the amiibo)

I wouldn't go out and buy a WiiU just to do that, but if I still had one, I'd still keep it around.

Don't talk shit about my brush.

I earned this. Put in so much time on Wii U for uphill battles. Let me enjoy a viable brush main.

When you're playing rainmaker and there's 3 down on the opposing team and there's a clear path to dunk.

And then a roller jump as out from one little spot of ink and kills you...

Lol

That was depressing

I tried it after SRB2dude recommended it as one of the best all around guns in the game, really liking it so far.

I've definitely seen some absolutely nasty octobrush users though. And that freaking autobot tracks so far.

Thing I wanna try against the Autobomb: Staying close to it until it decides to detonate. If it's supposed to detonate when it nears an enemy, then having it blow up quickly would just make it a Splat Bomb that can't roll. Running away causes you to give up too much ground.

I always do this. Makes them way easier to deal with.

Octobrush is fun but painfully short range

You didn't play 1, I presume. :p That was a short range Brush. Or it's the same but kills faster and stages are smaller. Regardless, it's way better than it was.

Do you get anything good for MP by playing through the Campaign?
First clear gets you the Hero Gear for use in Multiplayer.

If you beat every stage with one weapon, you unlock the hero version for multiplayer (it's the same as the normal multiplayer version, just a different look).
