Clash Blaster is pretty fun so far. It sucks at turfing and the stingray is gonna hold it back until it gets some reworks. This may be a much better weapon in ranked modes.

Some thoughts on Shifty Station

Marina: "We made a special stage for this Splatfest!"
Pearl: "You helped make the stage?"

For real though, Shifty Station is a pretty neat idea for the Splatfest, even if I hated most of the games I had on there.

I like that the stage made me feel the same things I felt going through some of the story levels, like when you try to jump to another platform and it moves so you fall to your death like an idiot.

This could also be a neat way for the devs to test features and gimmicks that they can add to real maps. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the new maps has moving floors like Shifty Station had.

Just don't add any of those bullshit spinning switches, please.

Edit: Oh, and it looks awesome!

I'm playing ranked now to increase my salt intake before the splatfest result. Preparing my body for salt!

Most of my Ketchup Vs. Mayo matches mostly ended with Ketchup dominating Mayo.

Maybe I'm the true Ketchup King of all Ketchup Kings.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anecdotal, but I don't think I've ever seen a Clash Blaster win in Ranked, even in Tower Control. It's totally outclassed by Rapid Blaster (and yeah, the poor Special doesn't help). Feels like a 4v3 against them.

But, I'm sure with enough time and people getting actual experience under their belts with it, things will change. Still don't see it ever outclassing Rapid, but it will certainly get better results over time!

Yeah I don't see it outclassing Rapid Blaster either, but I do see some merits to it. I'll put a lot of time into this as well as the future variant, which will probably be better overall.

should be in 2 minutes now

if its like japan other people in the thread mentioned its quicker to check on your phone if you dont want to sit through announcers

Guys, really dumb question. It seems when I started playing I could fast jump to other players at spawn by selecting them and hitting "A". Now, no matter how much I try that, or any other button it seems, NOTHING happens and I just stand there with my tentacle in my hand not doing anything.

What am I doing wrong here? Do I need some certain skill?

you dont need anything special, sometimes you need to spam A for it to work just make sure you are actually targeting someone on the map, i dont really use the dpad

I'm just glad that at King/Queen, the losing side only gets three less SSS than the winning side, unlike Splatoon 1 where it was six less.

Team Ketchup sucked eggs (ironically) so this works with me.

Glad they upped the Snails for the losing side. It kind of sucks that I chose Ketchup to play with friends that I wasn't able to play with in the end, though. Could have got a few more. :p
