often I drop one just as I get ambushed and watch the one who splatted me step on it

I watched way too many rollers walk over mines completely unharmed because of the stupidly long timer. Or step on a mine and survive

I am on the last boss but keep falling off the stage
that is a damn hard boss for me, I am not good at platforming so I wonder if the amiibo will prove to be harder to clear those stages

If it's about the final stretch, you shouldn't really be moving much at all, utilize the center and left OR right and just barely dodge the attack. Focus on the projectiles and stand your ground; move back to where it attacked after it is done. I'm assuming you have gyro or quick aiming skills.

I have a longer range weapon to fight agaisnt the aero guys (even if i have already the aero), too bad when i get too near them though.

Damn. While I'm not saying it'll sell anything close to MK obviously, I think Splatoon will be big.

Also the sp is amazing, totally worth getting the game even just to play the campaign for me, at least at EU's price of €35.

So that Kraken roller is basically support. Inking up territory until your special's full to charge in with. Then place beacons at sneaky spots behind enemy lines.

I can dig it.

My favorite so far.Lay a ton of ink down, hit Kraken and either chase someone or lay more down, then pop back to regular form and have a full charge of ink. So good.

I like to use kraken as a bubbler at times, if nothing else to get people to waste their own kraken/bubbler in retaliation if they don't try swimming away first. Have had some silly moments where I use it, chase someone for a bit and then quickly make a break for their base if I can't catch them so I can paint a circle back to where I started (underpass is amazing for this).

It's such a fun kit, and you can use it well to guard key points via ambush or kraken.

I mean you must already be super good and with a bunch of perks (don't even know if you can join regardless of your exp level?) while I'm a scrub and only play 1.1/2h on 2 tests.

Do you get the ability to leave a miiverse baloon only after having gone online multi? I see avatars in the plaza going around saying stuff and drawings popping up and I don't see how to have one myself

I've seen newbies (level 1-5) take out level 20 players lol

And you can join anyone in turf war regardless of level. Its only ranked battles where you need 10 and up.

There's a mailbox near the lobby (across from Judd the cat) where you can post. But your character won't have a bubble in your game, but will show up in others.
