Oh yeah, that hard drive speed and ram speed might actually be a detriment, but maybe it's more the hard drive. Have you opened task manager or something similar to monitor what's getting stressed? What capture device do you have? I think I remember you mentioning that the software creates a large file during streaming and it nearly fills your hard drive. If you can keep an eye on how much space it typically uses, maybe you can get an external USB 3.0 hard drive with more space than it uses. You should be able to redirect that file to the external drive.
I don't have any experience with streaming hardware, so that's why I need to ask a lot of questions.
