Why? It's like asking apples and oranges.seady said:Now compare this to Blur.
We need a inFamous vs. Prototype battle like last year.
Same. Also feels something that could get old fast.Neuromancer said:I am having a hard time telling if I like it or not. =\
On the one hand it is pretty exciting and some of the explosions and track changes are cool.
On the other hand something about it (maybe the controls) just doesn't feel right. Also I find it's a matter of luck whether the events you trigger actually take out other people.

The Faceless Master said:anyway, if you think Burnout went downhill after 2, try this demo out NOW!
Me too. Unfortunately, I think that ship has sailed. Criterion doesn't even know how to make them that good again.chixdiggit said:Downloading now. I long for the day of a proper sequel to Burnout 2.
V_Ben said:Demos are more understandable for bitching. a game is confirmed for both consoles, and one of them gets the demo? It's kinda silly, you have to admit.
geebee said:Damn gold-only demos..
Do new XBL accounts still get a free first month of Gold? Will I be able to download the demo?
I thought it was three.noisome07 said:I think it's limited to 4 or 5 accounts
LQX said:Are you sure you dudes are into racers?
LQX said:Awesome fucking game. Its kind of like Mario Kart and Need for Speed 2: Hot Pursuit(my favorite racer ever) meshed. I like it much better than the Blur demo. I wish it was coming for PC also though as the graphics look like they would be amazing on good PC.

might be the definitive version as long as the online is good, plus its $20 less
Spookie said:Feels a damn sight less frustrating than blur. I want to punch the moron who though of not introducing a grace period where you can get up to speed so you can avoid incoming attacks, but anyway! Cars need to go faster, I felt I had far to long to think about some of the power plays. Oh and it needs a boost button. Will add to my list of things to buy this month of: Skate 3, Modnation and the aforementioned blur.
I'll be renting GTA: Wild Wild West & Alan Wake me thinks.

LocoMrPollock said:That might be the way to go, the 360 version runs like ass.
I just can't get over the crawling speed. It's really noticeable if you happened to be playing another racer right before trying the demo.
Teknoman said:Maybe the sense of speed isnt there for you, but the 360 version does not run like ass. The framerate is pretty solid and no screen tearing.
chixdiggit said:A sequel to Burnout 2 this is not. Sure it shares some of the ideas but it doesn't have the risk/reward that Burnout 2 had.
All in all the game is OK for me. Graphics are nice, seems to handle fine, the powerplays can make things exciting....Still, I will definitely be picking up Blur over this.
MMaRsu said:But it was never meant to be, so I don't get the comparison.
Tokubetsu said:Look at MMaRsu
chixdiggit said:Some posts above got me all excited it was. I'm not holding it against the game.
Easy, don't burst a blood vessel. I have not been on XBL much the past couple of years, and I could've sworn that there are occasionally demos available to all users right away.MMaRsu said:...Every frikkin time I swear. EVERY NEW DEMO IS GOLD EXCLUSIVE FOR A WEEK. After that week it's available to everybody.
Damn..Is that really so hard to understand? I see people bitching about this all the time, or asking questions. Is this not something that's widely known?
