I was watching the first episode wrap up, sort of in a daze trying to figure out if there was one single original idea presented to me in those 22 minutes outside of unmanned machine-gun mounted segways and couldn't think of any. And then Aria finishes off with "Become my slave!" and I just started bursting out laughing. And I don't mean the good type of laughter.

I'm still watching episode 2 ;_;
If you don't watch it, you're a bakabakabaka!

Probably no one cares besides me and 7th, but Tomoyuki Niho probably animated this scene in X-men ep3:

It seems I'm wrong about this. It's more likely that Kenichi Kutsuna animated this, based on his previous effects seen in different shows which have the same style. I wonder which scene Niho animated then... need better quality video... rawwrr.

On one hand. Sex hair.

On the other, I love sadness and ramen.

DECISIONS.

See, at least you'll probably bail out before they meet the quiet loli sniper who quotes from the Bible as she shoots.

I'd would so watch "Saving Private Ryan-tan".

No, I'm not getting ensnared by this particular trap. I've already overdosed on shit anime this season with Seikon and A Channel.
I'm seriously tempted to watch A Channel episode 2 though for reasons I can't figure oh god what the fuck is wrong with me T_T
A Channel is a very average gag comedy... nothing more, nothing less. Dawg Dayz is the best though! ;)

I need to know what are the benefits of each team before I decide. What is the health care plan like on Team Iroha?

I cast my vote before:

As for the AnoHana vs. Iroha war, Iroha edges it out because its characters don't have awful hair, like that orange twintail.
Put me down for the sex hair side.

We feed you every morning, unless you do something that pisses the management off, then you have to tell us what food you hate the most and that's your breakfast for the next day.

The food I hate the most is chocolate cheesecake.

Hanasaku Iroha - 2
The mother and grandmother are awesome characters. I almost feel compelled to hate them but I can't. This episode only serves to highlight what differences they might have had with each other in the past for me. It's so deliciously delightful.

Favorite Ohana moment is when she told
Tohru to die.

There's even more yuri than last episode.

Seriously, I'm pretty sure those two sided with Iroha. They both see it as being the better one.

Edit: I'm a deadly pacifist.

Free health slaps daily. Everything else is covered by your employer, assuming you're willing to work 12 hours a day for meager pay.

The girl in Ano Hi Mita Hana Bokutachi Wa Mada Shiranai is giving me bad Dragon Crisis flashbacks.

I stand firmly with Team Iroha.

It would be a good idea to watch both. As Sun Tzu says: Know yourself and your enemy and you can win 100 battles without fail.

That's been mis-translated so much that it's quite comical. The closest translation that I'm aware of to that famous line in The Art of War is:

Know yourself and your enemy, and you need not fear the outcome of a hundred battles.

Sun Tzu never said anything specific about winning and losing. Sun Tzu was also saying that if you know yourself and your enemy and he's a lot stronger than you are, you would be wise not to engage in a battle with that enemy. It's not about winning and losing, it's about knowing when to fight.

No, no one is being forced to watch every KEY anime adaptation ever made here. Just two above average shows from Spring 2011 with a similar feel to them.
I'd watch them with you icarus! Although it won't be torture for me since I actually enjoy those a bit.

That's because you got the abridged version without the pornographic doodles on the side.

Menma is breaking the show for more people than I expected.

I think I'm more of a deranged animu fan than I give myself credit for, but I still stand by it until Moshidora finally arrives.

Yes, yes, but only after you watch Seikon II, infi-kun~!

That reminds me, I have to put Kanon 2006 and Clannad After Story at the top of the Netflix queue. Once Angel Beatz! is over with those are the last two I'll have left to conquer and I'll be done FOREVEEEEEER
until they make another Key animu. -_-

I see you've saved the best for last.

Eh, I think she might grow on people. Maybe. We'll have to see what they do with her character in future episodes, but I suspect the beginning of the first one is as annoying as she'll get.

I don't think she will that annoying forever. I mean she has got to stop talking to people who can't hear her and pretending she isn't dead eventually right?

She's a hyperactive child intruding on everyone serious business drama. I found her a tad distracting but I'm not surprised others feel she's pretty damn annoying.

Let others suffer through A Channel for you. That's what we're here for. I'm not certain why I'm watching it either.

Steins;Gate is fine tho. The art isn't really the concern with that show, it's when is it going to get interesting/coherent?
When is it going to get some smooth, classic direction rather than this weirdly chopped up story?
Aigis said:
Man... that really shows how disappointing the art is for Steins;Gate's anime. Why couldn't they make the art look all filtery looking for the anime?
I don't know, there have been far worse transiations from original character designs to the anime version and far better ones (Berserk), maybe it's somewhere in the middle.
