Oh, I only watched a couple of episodes, but if you want something fantasy-like and fairly generic, there was Samurai Girls.

The only other one that comes to mind is that Familiar of Zero (?) show.

Then there's House of Five Blades and Katanagatari.

Eh... Creepy guy is creepy. I thought the backlash for Iroha ep3 was bad, the subsequent one for AnoHana blows it out of the water.

The funny thing is i was expecting it to be a major part of the episode from the reaction... but it was only a single frame in the entire episode!

I second Firehawk's recommendation for Katanagatari. Ga-rei Zero's kinda meh.

Edit: Read some posts that Yozakura Quartet's action scenes are pretty nice, might want to check that out too. haven't seen it myself though.

Even though there's still not one stand-out gag like the first two episodes, I find myself laughing out loud more than ever. I suppose this style of humor must be growing on me. Sasahara's out-of-touch dignity, Mai's straight-faced clowning, hot in demand snowmen at the grocery store - it's all hilarious.

Have you seen Seirei no Moribito? There isn't much comedy, but it's an excellent fantasy anime.
