I'm not exactly an expert on this, but I'm reasonably sure female orgasms don't work like that.
Alright, all this discussion convinced me to look at the manga this was originally based on.

The older sister seems to be a little morally bankrupt.

I would throw out something fancy like "recency bias" to explain those results but frankly Kubey is god damn boss who deserves to top that chart over lesser mortals.

If its a mascot thing, the fact that there's no Kero-chan is a goddamn crime.

I don't know who any of them chicks are beyond Rei, and sure as hell Miku deserves to beat her in whatever this thing was.

Windy tales was pretty incredible, first series I've seen in a while that genuinely impressed me in every aspect - favorite episodes are probably 3, 5, 11, 12 and 10. But every episode had it's moments.:)

One of my favourite series, i guess the art style could be divisive but i think its beautiful at times. The first time i saw the last episode i got completely confused though, without getting spoilerish the timeline becomes nonlinear with no prior warning. Anyway if you like slowpaced with a hint of supernatural give it a go!

Koe de Oshigoto - 02

I think I held back a nosebleed at one point. o_O

Not as explicit as the first one, (HA!), but it's pretty much doing what I thought Hen Semi would become, I understand that BD OVA's have different rules, but I only have to point out to Yosuga no frikken Sora for "censorship."

Clearly you have been watching the wrong kind of shows. All the best shows make you feel ashamed.
Clearly I've been watching the wrong shows all along!

And on that note.

Koe de Oshigoto 2

"I can't get it up because I admire the actresses too much!"

Yeah right buddy, whatever you say. I want to say I'm surprised at what did it for him but I'm really not.

So, does no adult in this show have any qualms whatsoever about involving their underage siblings and offspring in this line of work? You'd think it'd at least make for some awkward dinner conversations but everyone's so chill with the older sister making her younger sister so horny to the point she enters some weird dazed sex trance and cums in front of everyone while reciting lines for the game all the while sucking on his classmates finger provocatively. That's professionalism, I suppose.

And I'm not sure I like that Vash the stampede works so well as a total perv.

It's a weird show, this one. Watching it I can't help but feel like it's trying to make a statement of some kind regarding the people behind the voices creepy otaku fap to and the instances of characters saying how much they admire the work and passion that goes into these things and how seiyuus should take pride in the work that they do and are worthy of respect and admiration for doing so lends further credence to that. Then I remember that this is Japan and that, sometimes, a panderbait show about a highschool girl who voices sex crazed, dick starved slutty highschool girls while in an induced sex trance to help out her sister's porn game company is just that. A panderbait show.

So yeah, I've probably given this more thought than I should have.

I just watched the entire first night of Animelo 2010. 4 major points of OMGAWESOMENESS:

1. fripside
2. angela
3. Yuzurenai Negai with Yonekura Chihiro and Tamura Naomi
4. 30K+ PEOPLE SINGING GONG, which once again proves that JAM Project can do no wrong.

Those were the 4 major points, the rest was actually still pretty good. I'm thinking I won't enjoy the 2nd day like I suspect, heck, I've always like the day that JAM Project is on than the one without them. Seriously though, I'm really looking forward to this years if only because this will be the first time JAM Project will be on both days, meaning they'll actually be on the Mizuki Nana day for the first time since the event became 2 days.

Not particularly. It is fairly bad though, which explains it's famous popularity...
I can understand it not being someone's cup of tea, but to call it fairly bad with the justification "everyone else says it is" is kind of weak. Elfen lied is fairly bad. Macross frontier is fairly bad. Fractale isn't perfect, but fairly bad... uhhh okay.

Yes, that is my opinion and I'm not exactly alone in my accusation. You can go back over the thread where Fractale aired (although that would take a while) to find similar points being raises. Also, Cain is such a pervert! *blush*
"Similar points being raised"? What point did you make? You just made an empty observation and didn't back it up with anything specific to support your claim. If all you have is neesa appearing then I guess you've never seen shows that segue into the next episode by introducing a new character at the end of the previous one. Happens a lot, especially when dealing with a limited amount of time/episodes. Even though its an obvious segue that could have just as easily been placed outside of the normal bounds of the episode, after credits, it wasn't particularly out of place where it ended up residing.

As to the repeated use of "etchi" I addressed that in my first post about fractale. I think I said something about the anime tropes people critisized one of which (evil white haired guy) wasn't even properly applied. If these are the people (ill-informed) you were using to add legitimacy to your opinion then more power to you. I'll concede (as i said in my first post), yes it's used a lot. And as I said if that is such a big problem then those who would watch it probably should avoid it.

I understand you're not a fan of the show, I was just hoping for a more concrete reasonother than nebulous non specific mantras that you gleaned from some prior discussion.

The full version of the ED released as well.

Hansaku Iroha Ending Theme Full

You know, I do like the ED, it's just so generic and paint-by-numbers compared to the sheer energy that emanates from the OP. The OP actually has a great animation sequence associated with it as well, the ED just has the main female cast looking at the sunset in a generically optimistic matter like a billion other ED animations.

I had no idea what 'Animelo' was, so naturally I Googled for it and read the Wikipedia entry. Wait, what? There's an annual anime songs concert now, which has been running since 2005? o.o Where can I stream this shit??

Honey and Clover Last Ep

Great show, made me feel sad. All these sort of shows make me feel like life is too short and I should go do something with it.

The romance did not end like how I expected it to. I'm actually kinda hoping
that Shuji's love isn't the sort that would make this into a pedo story.
Anyways, tears all around!

Next show I plan to watch now is Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien!

EDIT:I feel like more Honey and Clover now actually. WTF, why end it like this :(

Princess Princess D 1: Finally decided to check out the live action adaptation of Princess Princess and I'm pretty sure I'm not cut out of adaptations of manga/anime. There's just way too much dissonance, considering they try to use anime-like sound effects and physical acting.

I suppose my brain is damaged enough to readily accept the idea that an all boy's school would get guys to dress up as girls in order to please the school population. Other than the dresses being extremely garish (frills and gi-normous platform heels, really?), it seems perfectly reasonable.

I'm reminded of the live action version of Honey and Clover though. Thankfully it's impossible to find a real life Hagu, so they just found a short girl and you had to pretend she was shorter than she was. :lol

(Also, need new episode of AnoHana before I go down an insane rabbit hole)

I think it's more platonic and brotherly than anything else. Like a deep connection to a loved sibling, but that's just how I took it. Anyways, isn't Hagu like 20 years old by the time the 2nd season ends?

Ahahahaha KyoAni you fickle bitch. Can't blame you for saving your energy when the money is still rolling in from K-On!

No Grand Prizes Given for 2nd Kyoto Animation Award

The official website of the anime studio Kyoto Animation (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star, K-ON!) announced the results of the second Kyoto Animation Award program on Thursday. However, the studio awarded no grand prizes in any category, and no honorable mentions at all were named in the scenario and manga categories. There were no grand prizes last year as well.

Kyoto Animation announced the award program in 2009 and offered 300,000-yen (about US$3,600) grand prizes and 100,000-yen (US$1,200) honorable mention prizes in novel, manga, and scenario (script treatment) categories. In the first year, the rules noted that popular winning entries were to have had a chance at being animated by Kyoto Animation, but the rules for the second year do not mention this possibility.

The results are as follows:

Novel Category

Grand Prize
No winners

Honorable Mention
Machi de Ichiban Chiisana Jiken by Izumi Tōka
Kyōkai no Kanata by Nagomu Torii
High Speed! by Kōji Ōji
Katasukunisensu by Hamu Jōjima

Scenario Category

Grand Prize
No winners

Honorable Mention
No honorees

Manga Category

Grand Prize
No winners

Honorable Mention
No honorees
To be fair maybe none of the entries were really that good though. And the rules did say there was no guarantee of a prize being awarded.

That girl is going to be in for a rude awakening some time later in life. Condensed milk lol

Also somehow Motoki ends up being the creepiest character in this show, which is amazing considering one of the other characters propositioned a 16-year old high school girl within ten seconds of his introduction.

I'm really not sure how to describe this show.

It all depends on what the judges are looking for. I've seen several piano competitions where the judges haven't given out a grand/1st prize because none of the entrants were up to their standards. I assume the judges at KyoAni thought the same.

Yeah... the manga's better. The show is pure panderbait/stealthporn, while the manga is pure panderbait/stealthporn (not as much on the stealthporn) cut with subtle commentary on otaku perceptions of porn games. I don't even know why I want to watch the next one. Man my curiosity is morbid...

That's... admittedly part of the fun. Everyone being so blaze about it is just the most perfect thing. It gives it this surrealist edge that kind of shows itself to be a sort of fantasy. Maybe that's why I desire to keep watching... it's an appeasing fantasy that I can properly separate myself from...

Anyway, because we all know that Ms. Underaged Ero Star is going to end up with that Mr. Son of a Hardcore Porn CEO, all I could help thinking was that when things get around to it, he's gonna have some damned good sexings with a broad like that. :p
I'm an awful person, aren't I? D:

Turns out that vocal fans have some influence after all: as a result of overwhelming support on Facebook, Funimation has licensed Kuragehime for DVD/BD release next year.

Nah man, it's just like with academic essays. You could, theoretically get a 100 but no-one ever does.

Because no lecturer has any idea what a 100 essay would look like.

95? No lecturer/teacher I've known of a certain age gives more than 80. Not that I've ever got higher than say, 76.

Student teachers are somewhat generous, old wizened lectures give everyone 55-70 unless you've really pulled something great off.

It's a show about voice acting eroge. There's no way I wouldn't love it.

It's pretty funny though, between the "I'd suck my own dick if I could!" guy and the cheesy "Hentai voice work takes such courage!" dork and general routine atmosphere of it all. Add in the fact that the main girl's special ability is working herself into a sex-fueled trance and cumming in front of the whole studio, and oh my god. Show of the season.
