K still gets great arts. Wish it becomes a poster.
So yeah, good episode
Penis and Yayoi have the same amount of letters in them. Coincidence?!?!?!
I got another order of Free! goods (clear file, pen case, minis). Sadly the rate of Free! stuff coming out seems to be slowing down, nothing on order until June
BUT WAS THERE MOFUKICHI?!No Game No Life 03
This is a rather... different take on chess compared to the Seki Chess vs Shogi matchup earlier in the week. But that was a pretty enjoyable episode, because Sora struck the right balance between being cool while at the same time being cool because he was doing the most embarrassing things possible, embracing his gaming otaku side and using it to his advantage. Confessing to a chess piece isn't something you'll see in any game, and the central strategy of "fight for Shiro's cuteness!" is one I can rally behind. God save Queen Shiro!
:kayosguyz, what is sinep
How many different types of games are they playing on a single chess board?
Still no.BUT WAS THERE MOFUKICHI?!
Mock all you like but the truth is DTL is clearly supporting the industry more than most of us.

DTL and Cajun are the reason we have anime.
But, like war veterans, their contributions and sacrifices are so easily forgotten and they are shunned by the society they laid their lives down to protect.
Hm... I should get KinMoza...
If you were to prioritise any of these make it 0080: War in the Pocket. It's only six 30 minute episodes and is seen as one of the top tier series in Gundam.
Terrible until further notice.Still no.

How many JoJo references is this show going to have?
Kino's Journey 2
In which cute bunnies are shot in the head for the sake of survival.
There are a lot of parallels one could draw between this show and Mushishi, both shows where the leads travel to different lands and encounter various melancholy problems, both shows that move slowly and trend towards melancholy over happy and satisfying. Kino's main difference is how the lead really takes center stage in each tale. Hermes is a valuable companion, because his inquisitiveness about how Kino feels (which comes across as genuine, not as an artificial device for our sake) gives us a natural path into her thought process.
So what happens in this episode is important, but what matters the most is how Kino approaches it, and what she takes from it. And I like that the episode doesn't need to spell out every part of that for us. The end is really effective as a result.
I wonder how the other people who saw the episode feel about the choices Kino made.Even given the ultimate outcome of who those men actually were or the fact that they turned on her, I still like the logic she explained to Hermes earlier. It's nice to think that if we treat others the way we would want them to treat us if the tables were turned, they'll reciprocate down the line. I think that sort of trust is the basis of a healthy society. But maybe that kind of thinking is riskier when you're traveling and you don't understand what the expectations are.
