Sure, but most anime characters aren't lusting after protagonists that multiple social taboos forbid fucking with, so Kirino has to deal with so much more and identify herself with a whole lot of unspeakable shit just to have the same bland anime protagonist that every anime girl wants.

I can only guess that it's the idea of incest itself that interests her and not anything about her brother in particular.
