Body type 1 and 2. Dragon Quest 3HD qualifies for same reason. We had a few people her refusing to buy the game because of that.

I think the SBI Detected list is much better as it tells you how the DEI consultants were influencing the games' writings, designs, or characters.

If we are gonna dig any games that contain "progressive elements", there would be very few left. For instance, I don't mind the body type 1 and 2 in Elden Ring because it is as much as it gets.

this requires a level of nuance in analysis... just having a gay character or whatever does not make a game "woke" or whatever the fuck. The problem is when the plot / story takes a backseat to focus on forced inclusivity. It's when characters are design in the most bland ass possible way in order to be as inoffensive as possible. It's when established characters that millions love somehow have to take a backseat because a nobody character must upstage them because they fill whatever quota..........

What's hilarious about this is that saints row was always diverse anyway so they didn't need to change anything.

I don't get what they are trying to achieve here.

They killed any sense of progression in these games after FH3. This franchise is the epitome of the "everyone's a winner" shite that's plaguing society at the moment (along with all the woke crap).

To enjoy this you need to not be burnt out on the previous game, be able to ignore all the kiddy/cringe story/dialogue/character shite and have fun simply driving/racing around. Thankfully that's the case with me but I absolutely can see why people are bummed about the structure and general tone in this game.

The worth a buy review perfectly sums it up in my opinion:

The game looks shit and it's 99% guaranteed to be shit. There are no redeeming features from a visual standpoint and to make matters worse it's a woke box ticking exercise.

Audiences for this type of game don't exist and for the few weirdos it does appeal to they will struggle to find enough players to have a game with within months.

Then the studio will be dead and buried within 12-18 months. We've seen this all before.

The fact that they killed factions but kept plowing resources towards this is a joke. What's even more of a joke is that they are putting resources towards this instead of giving that same money and time to a developer who can make a decent single player experience for them.

Who has ever defined that list as being the definitive one that everyone should pay attention to? That list goes far beyond the SBI consulted shit.

If you want my personal opinion, I think that list oversteps the mark (to the point where I'm starting to believe it might be a textbook woke person who created it in order to make a mockery of all this), however everyone has different thresholds in term of that they believe oversteps the mark.

If someone looks at that list and wants to avoid everything on it, that's up to them and I respect that. In the same way that it's up to an individual if they only want to avoid certain games on that list because there is a certain criteria that they feels oversteps the mark and it happens to exist in all the games they are avoiding.

What I don't respect however, is the incessant handwaving of people's comments and concerns when a director of a game has made it clear as day that he's gone out of his way to insert his agenda in to an upcoming game.
