I don't dislike the crazy thought process of the cast nor the violence displayed, but the character's art creeps me out a little bit (Koko's smile mainly) and the visual quality of the episode was sort of meh.
I'm also not sure what this show is about. The adventures of an arms-dealer and her gang? The way a child soldier will get back his emotions and start having a real life? I guess I'll have to keep watching to find out.
I see. I guess they still managed to make a new nice sounding soundmix for the show with such materials since, well, the effects are part of the show. That's pretty lame re: the OST though.
I can live with it, as I love the Yuji Ohno stuff more. But Takeo's stuff was real unique for the franchise, and it encapsulated the deadpan style of that series quite well. Not to mention that it has some amazing OP themes, and what is still the one and only true ED theme that Lupin is known for (in Japan, at least).
What I want is more Charlie Kosei. Listening to his Lupin vocal album from 2002 makes me shed manly fucking tears every time, because his arrangements and his players are so damn good at what they do.
This was pretty good. Not only the animation was expressive and fluid, but the script isn't half bad. It's a silent short with no dialogue so you don't have to worry about the stupid Sonic voice acting, but even so the sound effects were supreme. It's short and inoffensive too: about ten minutes long and there's hardly anything to scoff at.
There's a myriad of complaints you can make about Sega's in-house departments, but their CGI studio is among the best. I would say they are even better than Squeenix's. 5/5 gotta go fasts
But that's the cult leader's concubines! There was no emphasis on the cult itself being a drug AND sex cult. All we saw of the followers was the drug emphasis.
Everything that could have went horribly wrong for Rarity in this episode basically did. Her friends looked a gift horse in the mouth and Rarity learned the lesson that by trying to please everypony you end up pleasing nopony
The fashion show segments were a lot of fun. The bad dresses were hilariously hideous while the good dresses looked nice, but thats totally boring!
The DJ Pony was totally awesome as was the Garbo reference by Rarity in her moment of despair while wallowing into a crazy cat pony.
Ive never been a huge fan of Rarity so I wasnt really looking forward to this episode at all, but in the end it turned out pretty decent considering its a Rarity episode.
Oh thank goodness. I was starting to think 21st century jazz started going in the wrong direction that it was never intended to go. I mean, at least I don't think jazz is about dudes making out. It wasn't during my time.
This had some seriously aggressive ahoge. Instead of the cleavage being lumped into the shots like the last episode there were numerous instances of stray ahoge hanging into the frame to bounce around. Everything about this show except for Shiranui continues to be bland beyond all reason, and the monologue near the end of this episode is painfully dry and Zzzzzzzzzz inducing.

I'm not say the cult is related to sex. Just that the cult happens to have a sex den for their glorious leader which Fujiko infiltrates as a concubine.
"Ocarina of Time is terrible, I quit playing after that awful first dungeon." Or maybe "Mario 1-1 is a poor introductory level, I saw no reason to keep playing after that."
There are probably enough super duper Zelda hipsters who believe that every Zelda made after LttP sucks to keep Envelope from getting totally eviscerated. He needs to say something like Planescape: Torment having terrible writing or Mario Sunshine being better than Mario Galaxy to truly incur comic levels of wrath.
The monster-of-the-week design in this show's already much better thank the pile of shit we get in Smile PreCure known as Akanbe. The heart seed sequences on the other hand...
Well shit, this was actually pretty damn good. The animation was really well done and Sonic's shitty friend really didn't get in the way at all! 3.5/5 sonichu's
