Having just watched the first 2 episodes of Sankarea back to back I had to come browse what my Gaf folks thoughts on the show were up to this point.
The show certainly has an interesting premise and is so far unique enough to keep my attention. That said, episode 2 was somewhat difficult to watch because Sanka's father is such a creeper and gives me a severe case of the heebie jeebies. I hate him already but I guess that's really the point.
Furuya's cousin is obviously after the goods but so far is just the over the top sexpot counterpoint to the demure but still sexy Sanka. Too bad neither girl is a zombie or Furuya might just have himself the most unique harem in all of animedom.

Gordius Wheel, Ionioi Hetairoi - Anti-Army
Excalibur - Anti-Fortress
Anti-Unit NPs are good for one-on-one type duels. Most of the NPs in the series fall under this category.
Anti-Army NPs are good for a multitude of targets. All of Rider's NPs fall under this category, fittingly enough.
Anti-Fortress NPs are good for a large, solitary target.
And that's pretty much all you need to know about Noble Phantasm types right now.

It was really nice to finally get a good Lumpy Space-Hime episode. The whole thing had a great diverse group of characters, especially the adorably stupid villagers. It's also always a good episode when they throw in some random singing/rapping.

Yeah I figured that pretty much most of the NPs we've seen are Anti-Unit. I didn't consider that Gordius Wheel is actually Anti-Army, but that makes sense too. Thanks.
AnimeGAF general consensus seems to be that the show is a pleasant surprise, as no one was expecting Sankarea to have the good production values and strong direction that it has. Several people familiar with the original manga have commented that the anime is treating the subject matter with a level of seriousness not present in the original manga. I'm personally thrilled with it, some less so.

I thought Kotomine didn't remove the crest worm in Sakura, since that would essentially kill her. Moreover, does Kotomine even know about crest worms at this point? I think he just heals him, since that's his specialty.

Kotomine didn't remove all of it, just most of it since some were buried too deeply. I have no idea if Kotomine knows about them at this point. Since removing the worm from Sakura used up most of his Magic Crest, I would assume he wouldn't use it so freely. I guess you're right, he jus heals Kariya.

Mutta continues to be a great lead character. His idiosyncrasies are really amusing, but they also feel sincere. His quirks feel like natural elements of his character, as opposed to just being there to have some comedy. We also get to know Serika more and she's pretty amusing, too. I really liked the scene in her hotel room. The flashbacks this episode were pretty funny, and I loved the bit where
I'm really enjoying the pace the story is going at, and the fact that it's spending time focusing on what a prospective astronaut needs to go through. It takes the concept seriously rather than simply skipping past all of that.

You don't just sub a keeper like that after forty-five minutes in a competitive match, what the fuck? It goes against every fucking code in the game. The two goals were not even his fault.
I really don't think I'll hate Angel's Egg. It might leave me cold, but we'll see. Similarly, I don't hate Innocence, but my own opinion of the movie's flaws get magnified by having to respond to pizzaroll, who has a bad habit of rubbing people, including myself, the wrong way.
I've been pondering it.
I think I might prefer a plush one, though.

Either way would've worked, I think. Shorter with a tighter story or longer with expanded plot and character growth.
