Yuyushiki is one of those shows I'd hate to try translating. They spend so much of their time just making silly Japanese puns, or even things that don't really qualify as puns, they're just playing around with the sounds of words.
I imagine much of it would need some heavy localisation to make sense in English, but of course localisation is the antithesis of subtitles for things like this, since it's awkward to change too much when you can hear what they're actually saying...
Well to me it is all gibberish so the subbers could write anything and I'd believe it HA HA.
But the show also comes off as you being an outsider observing a group of girls making loads of in-jokes with each other. Much like an outsider looking at this thread (minus the girls part)
Could this show BE more Clamp? It's a show that's basically about what happens when Super Robot Pilots get married. Apparently they have awesome robot on robot sex. Speaking of, having a pistol pop up out of the console directly between the bride's legs, then having her husband respond to her question of "what is this?" with "I'll explain what it does later, just grab onto it for now" is perhaps the most amazingly suggestive and hilarious thing I've seen in awhile, although her mother quipping only moments before "Every bride has to have her first time!" was also funny.
It'll be interesting to see the main romance in this show from the perspective of people who're already married. I fully expect a ball and chain weapon at some point.

Well that was pretty enjoyable. I didn't find myself really getting super emotional with this one, though... maybe it's just because I'm sick right now and don't have a lot of tears to shed, or something.
Menma was pretty adorable for a moe Mary Sue, but pretty much every other character except Poppo kinda pissed me off. Glasses girl pretty much was a non-character, redhead was nowhere close to me liking her, crossdresser boy never improved, and our hapless MC had a pretty flat personality.
In some ways I'm glad it was only 11 episodes, but maybe if it was longer they could have at least had some more humorous moments, because the drama really wasn't getting to me.

Menma's reincarnation was going to be something a little more, I dunno, bigger than a flower, but I guess I totally saw it coming with the title.

What even... yukiatsu was the best character there, jinta too, they had excellent development., history, and a great clash. Easily the most memorable part.
I actually wasn't a huge fan of Lucky Channel. Shiraishi was cool, but Akira just grated on my nerves. I really enjoyed the main show as well, so it was just content that wasn't the main show for me.

This episode was quite enjoyable . We had a nice shonen looking at a mature woman legs .....but we also had a race battle!
It was kinda cool ...if the production didn't decide to drag this.
Don't get me wrong i like explanations , i like twists and deductions since it was a first a "battle of intelligence"...BUT
OMG ...the number of monologues with this house suddenly poping in view because they have to pad the best they can the story is overwhelming !
