Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon 1

Pretty slow episode, that Im only watching because Bell has a good design. Though I liked it when the other group was introduced to inspire him to do better. Since he appears in the ED, I assume we'll get some direction action. Perhaps the show will take off next episode.

When I first saw the promo art for Try to pick up Girls in a Dungeon I thought Bell was a girl and it was about two girls dungeon raiding and getting hit on.

But then I watched the episode and it wasn't and I disappointed myself.

Subete no aware
I guess everyone is going to be talking about the bad Shaft show that started today or the weird food shounen show, so I thought it'd be a good chance to wrap up the show last season that combined the two.

I won't say that it's necessarily remarkable, mostly because these types of stories are so old hat to me now to the point where I get more academic enjoyment out of them rather than something emotional, but in lieu of a decent slice of life mono no aware type anime this year (at least until the Tamayura OVAs are available), I'm glad that I watched this.

The food fetishization, while very odd at first, became a part of the rhythms of the show that was a visual representation of the emotional release (at least I didn't say ejaculation) that is similar to the baths that Yuno would take at the end of each Hidamari Sketch episode. They're just very personal moments that are meant to show a moment of vulnerability and introspection.

I suppose the one realization that I have is that I'm really a sucker for these types of stories, even if they all feel exactly the same at this point. I mean, they even managed to throw in a middle school graduation ceremony because that's what you do in these types of stories. But I'm not going to complain about getting more of the same, especially if I enjoy it.

Warren Statesman is an interesting tree-man. Also, Lucy and Cana should have more bath scenes together. We haven't gotten something like this since Sirius Island.

/me shuts off yuri goggles

Now with Lucy handling the previews instead of Natsu and Happy's banter, the whole show has taken on a rather different tone for this arc. Which I suspect is going to last a while.

Makes me really curious about the manga its based on. All I know is that its a 4koma. I guess its even more just new recipe every chapter or whatever.

I enjoyed the anime, even if I would have liked to more plot.

This combined with Foodwars does make me wonder if all cooking based manga are food fetishistic like these are.

Pffffffffff, what are you talking about

The show's openings will always have better animation than the actual show will ever have.

Lol, I have always said the same thing about Bleach. The animation and fights in the openings are always better than the actual show.

Dun dun, daa daa, dun dun, daa daa. So fake Mori Summers reveals herself and we get more hijinks. I kind of find her obnoxious, but I guess that's supposed to be part of her character. Sanae is is awesome and gives Kumin a run for her money for best girl. Rikka sucks at math and some dude shaves his head.

I wish I could just erase my knowledge of this show and start it again. I enjoyed it when I first watched it but can't make it through an episode when I try to rewatch it. It sucks because I want to like it but don't.

Really? I guess some shows are like that where it just becomes a bore after a rewatch since you know everything that'll happen, but Chunibyo seems like a fun show to rewatch.

Lol I was just about to subscribe to fumimation due to their app being on ps4 when it didn't work due to an error about their servers. At least CR isn't that bad.

Aureon

Please do not let me serve on a jury. I am actually a crazy person.
Dungeon longname wasn't half as bad as i thought. Getting definite NGNL vibes here, which is awesome.

Souma.. eh, read the manga, god damn if that foodgasm isn't exaggerated. Hope they tone it down, as the manga goes.

Horizon in the Middle if Nowhere 2-5

This show is confusing as hell. 5 episodes in and I have no idea who is who and what the hell is going on, but some bad guy just blew some stuff up and an automatic doll is some deadly armor... wtf?

Soma 1

Porn at its finest.😏

Erina is still shit, plus having her voiced with a snotty attitude makes her even more terrible. Anyways good first episode.

Also I hope we get some animated Hisako.😎

It was one of the first series I watched so I put it on a level that it was never at. After watching much better stuff I only see it as being as lesser.

I wonder if Bones are going anime original with this series considering they added a new character that wasn't in the source material.

Seems weird so much talent is being poured into a show that is neither an original IP nor an adaptation of some super hot manga/novel

Don't think I'll watch all of Gintama for the new show but after 15 episodes I'm in love. I love most of the characters and the comedy is spot on plus I'm sure it can deliver some heavy episodes too.

The serious arcs are pretty much brilliant in delivery. Plus some of the drama filled episodes are great as well.

Yeah it's been hinting at it and I'm sad cause I don't want to lose any of these wonderful characters. Even the small sad scenes hit me hard so far.

Wow, I wasn't really enjoying it until the Hot Pot episode around 25 or 26, and I think it's pretty consistently great now so you should really enjoy it.

I was watching Hunter x Hunter episodes as study breaks and it was great. I always came back to my work refreshed. After I finished through episode 26 I decided to take a break and watch Haibane Renmei.

It's a good show, but it's draining and I would not recommend it as a study breaker lol.

Yeah I'm gonna keep watching and I'm pretty easy to please with older anime since I'm a fan of it plus while it isn't always funny I just like the tone of the show overall. I'm glad it keeps getting better. I just have so much to watch anime wise.

Watch Da Birdie

I buy cakes for myself on my birthday it's not weird lots of people do it I bet
I just realized Gintama returns this week! Anyone making an OT for it?

Crunchyroll is airing this season as well, right?
