According to the details, Square Enix revealed that it had achieved strong sales with products related to 2B and Tifa, such as action figures and the like, earning around 14.8 billion yen or approximately US$ 97 million.

At 97 million dollars, this result significantly exceeded the figures for previous years. The products that stand out in this story are: a set of Dragon Quest acrylic stands, a Tifa Lockhart action figure and a very expensive 2B statue.

Play Arts have some real questionable quality control (or used to, at any rate) so it's a surprise to hear Tifa is doing well (other manufacturers have worked on Nier stuff).

Quality is so-so though
They put too much efforts into fan-service and marketing than actual figurine quality

Sex sell. More at news.
2B is more than "sexy" her design is very slick and so well made.

If "sexy" all it took them game to sell well then games like OneChanbara should have been sold like crazy.

I sure her design rules, but lets not kid ourselfs about their potential sexy appeal.

That's like 1-2k+ statue for 2B and there was the normal and DX versions.
Tifa feels second to 2B. She's had a few figures and other merch but I've just mostly seeing 2B merch whenever new listing's appear.

this is sad though as I really think most of their stuff is overpriced compared to competitors.

That Tifa statue is something else. Holy shit. Imagine walking into someone's house who owns that...lmao
