Couldn't care less about the last two and the first one would ruin the magic.

I'd take a remake, but not in 3D. I'm picturing what they did with Secret of Mana. Game was better on SNES.

Hard disagree. Was my favorite RPG growing up and I recently started playing it again on original hardware after having just got into retro gaming on a CRT and it is still absolutely fantastic.

I would heartily welcome a proper HD-2D remake of it. They need to do Final Fantasy Tactics as well.
