Star Citizen Gamescom Presentation Livestream | Today @ 9PM CEST / 3pm EDT / 12pm PDT

I know next to nothing about it, but this looks pretty amazing The not-so-subtle No Man Sky digs are entertaining as well.

How seamless from one point to the other is just amazing, if they can mix this level of detail/technology with great gameplay, lore etc...

Man..

I feel like I'm in that scene from Jurassic Park when they see dinosaurs for the first time.

This changes everything. In a single instant.

I mean, yeah, but they've gotta hit their deadlines occasionally, right?
There is always a first I guess.
I not even complaining at that point, it's really just about not setting myself up to disapointement, the game look incredible anyway.

So we got a call from this guy on a random space station in the middle of space, got our ship, flew out to the planet, landed in real time, took a few elevators down and finally caught up with him, all in a live demo. Amazing.

So glad they've really gotten to a point where the game looks like it's really coming together. I've been on it since the original Kickstarter and couldn't be more happy right now. Enjoying No Man's Sky for what it is but this game is on another level.

They should have sent a poet

I know it's a demo and it'll take longer to do things but still I love the pace of the game, going to see this contact they just did all the way from space, to the planet, now in the station, etc. Just traversing the world space they're in takes just the appropriate amount of time (like elevators) that isn't too slow, but not too fast either and really settles you into the world really well (plus it all being seamless is impressive tech). The game really delivers scale very well which adds a lot to immersion.

HOLY DAMN.

They really did it, they are pulling it off ! It's gonna be amazing.

I don't want to read any of those "it's a scam" comment anymore, please.

Anyway, as a long time backer I'm excited.

That is a placeholder asset (this was stated in a Bugsmashers episode, a couple weeks ago).

I actually like it though. I mean it could be polished a little I guess, but the way that he flitted between "Accept" and "Decline" and the letters all moved independently. It looked cool.

Have they ever said how many people they're planning on having in a single instance? Currently the limit is like 24 on the PU servers right? Its been awhile since i've played.

I also love how mercilessly SLOW paced it is. Everything has to be done manually, in physical spaces. I love how nothing is a teleport or a fast travel. The word "immersive" gets so fucking overused, but in this case I really do think it applies.
