Star Citizen Gamescom Presentation Livestream | Today @ 9PM CEST / 3pm EDT / 12pm PDT

Rotating turret perspective during the warp was a nice touch. Good timing seeing the moon coming up.

Fine looking asteroids here

Man this is just incredible. I'm hyped for SQ42 if this is quality of the MMO experience.

SQ42 is going to sell like hot cakes!

For all the criticism hashed out at the games's management, I really hope Chris Roberts pulls this off. Loads of ambition.

Really really great demo. Never got anything like this for NMS and this so much more detailed and real. Scam comments are a joke now after this, always were anyway.

Having the relatively mundane routine of flying down to a planet to pick up a mission being a 100% seamless process - flying down from space, landing, getting out of your seat, walking over to talk to a dude, back into the ship and back into space - is something I've been dying to have in a game for pretty much my whole life. I still have a ton of misgivings about this project, but if it fully comes together someday... man.

Just think, a year from now with much more in place, running this game with a big AMD Vega or Nvidia Volta card w/ HBM2.

Jesus.

This, so far, is basically what I wished Mass Effect would've turned into after the first game. It's so fucking cool!

This looks stupidly awesome! So happy I got in when I did and after 2.0 I'll skip all the inbetween and go straight to 3.0 end of the year/next year.

Hopefully it'll be somewhat optimized :P

Edit: That production value is way to high to keep it across every quest in the game. They can't possibly motion cap and voice every little side quest, right?

Someone needs to do a welfare check on Derek Smart.

So far today it's been a mix of "fake, canned demos", "Elite: Dangerous did it first", and his usual cries of scam. Pretty sad, really, nothing like the Great Meltdown of GamesCom 2015.

EDIT: Oh, forgot about "everyone cheering on the stream is either an employee or a shill".
