As a matter of fact, it was. Haha! That was an awesome game, too. The first phase us Rebels weren't looking too good, but we squeaked by with a win in the end. It was an intense match!Wait! Sitting in the theater waiting for 7:45. Glad I got here early, it's already getting packed.
I won't be able to get to the theater we're seeing it at until 6:30 for a 7:30 show. Damn, I'm fucked aren't I?

I live in a rural area, so yeah. If you've got your ticket you've got a seat, but probably the worst ones.

That reminds me of something I did once rather similar. A whole group of stormtroopers trying to get up a pathway to a control point, but trading grenade throws and gunshots mostly. Well I picked the scout trait (godly) so I ran around the back undetected and tossed a thermal imploder into the lot of them.

Maybe you are accidentally using the touchpad. If you swipe left or right on the touchpad that will activate the corresponding card. And it is quite sensitive, although that almost never happened to me.
If not, then try resetting your controller with the button in the back.
I know what you mean. Thing is I get super frustrated when I charge their base only to get killed over and over because my team doesn't help escort me OR clear out our own base. I attempted to go in there a couple of times, but got boned in the process
Well after four weeks of renting, I can finally send Battlefront back to GameFly -- I dropped the $40 on it at GameStop. Aaaand... I got a poster and a Pop! figurine of Rey. I don't even like Pop! stuff, but I now have a Rey and a Daenerys, and I'll try my best to love these weird giant heads. Life just keeps throwing them my way. I dunno if it's company-wide or what, but this particular GameStop was just showering me in free stuff.
Had a similar problem where I couldn't trigger card abilities at all, buttons seemed to not trigger anything at all. Happened two or three times in one session and never since, I highly doubt it's a DS4 issue, just a bug with the game.
I've had that bug on the XB1 version too, so definitely not a controller issue.

How hard is it to understand Turning Point? It says right there "Capture the control points" and it has a fucking countdown timer to when you lose. Why just hang back and shoot at them from 100yds away until it runs out, never moving in? I made a solo approach, waaay out ahead of everyone, in full view, without even a jetpack, and usually killed 3-4 guys each time. Imagine if all 20 of us moved in on one point, yeah? Seriously some modes are just broken because apparently the playerbase is too stupid.
So.. when I start a game and the cards do not work is a bug not a thing of the game? Because sometimes when I star playing a game, say walker assault my abilities are disable. They don't work until I re spawn.
This only happens to me in HvV mode. Never seen it in Supremacy.

Protip: If you get a really shitty team (example: yours gets 3 y-wings, theirs gets 13), go to the main menu and wait a minute before joining for a new round. If you stay in the same lobby it doesn't shuffle the players, so you'll just be on the same shitty team over and over and over.
I killed myself on accident a lot with grenades from that. It turned out I was hitting the touch pad. You can disable that on the settings.

have you tried playing 3rd person? i started playing 1st and then switched to 3rd, its definitely better ..
also, for all the bitching i've done about this game, at this point its definitely a good deal for 40 bucks if you've got a couple of friends to play with .. but who knows what'll happen when the DLC hits. i definitely don't plan on buying that at full price ..

I tried, I just like the immersion factor of 1st person. I feel like long range fighting is a bit easier in 1st, too.
What's a good FOV for 3rd person? I'm using 80 currently.

Funny you say that because I feel the exact opposite. I feel like I'm a lot more aware of what's around me when in 3rd.
In the end, I'm really happy they included both at a press of a button. DICE deserves major props for that.

i didnt know FOV was an adjustable thing. i'm using whatever the default is on PS4.

I'm surprised they didn't do anything earlier, at the same time with what needs fixing not that surprised at the same time. Where are the new Hero units, Stormtrooper skins, could even throw out some vehicle skins like in Battlefield. Massively missed opportunity if they do nothing, and I don't think many people will care if they wait 6 months to get this stuff out.

I think now that the movie is out the floodgates are open for post TFA stuff. I'd imagine we'll start seeing games, novels, etc based on these characters. I bet we see stuff in this game around Jan or Feb.
