Park seems like a great guy, especially for the fans. His interaction with the kid during the Q&A, shaking everyone's hand in the front row, teaching that Qui Gon guy how to swordfight real quick and the selfies stuff was all really genuine. Like, he's really happy to be there and represent. That's a great thing.

Been at celebration for all three days. Absolutely exhausted, lots of panels, lots of people.
Had to leave before the closing ceremony unfortunately, but all over the live stream on my way home!

Really wondering how this Han Solo flick is going to play out. It is really difficult to imagine Alden living up to Harrison Ford, but if anyone can make amazing films out of terrible ideas it's Lord and Miller. The Kasdans writing the script is also a big plus.

I think it'll be a great film but many won't be able to get over the change.

I do believe Alden and the filmmakers need to take Harrison's advice which was not to try and recreate him, but to do their own thing and just make sure it stays true to the character

No one can come off of Ford as Han, but aslong as the performance is good I don't mind if he looks the part. It's so hard to cast, so if they picked him out of 3K people he must have done something right.

Damn good. Warwick Davies made every panel on the main stage massively enjoyable.

Lots of queuing as expected, and never got a chance to try the VR demo on Vive as the times got booked up within minutes each morning. We were in the first batch to go in this morning and still missed out.
I think they could have put more on on the show floor, in addition to the few little bits they had amongst the hundreds of sellers.

Overall though, Superb weekend and a trip is massively recommended if it's close and you're able to go.

I just don't like the idea of them building movies with such established characters like Han Solo with a different actor, it just feels wrong. They should focus on new characters like Rogue One does.
