It's funny when OT diehards deny reality. The entire current generation of Star Wars fans was raised on the prequels and The Clone Wars.

Im only 25 and technically "grew up" with the Prequels but also had the OT on VHS as a kid. While Phantom Menace was very impressive to me as a ten year old thanks to the special effects, as soon as I was old enough to understand what a truly good movie was I have never really cared for the prequels.

I think you underestimate the intelligence of Star Wars fans. Just because some of us weren't 70s and 80s children doesn't mean we value the shitty prequels that much.
