Im only 25 and technically "grew up" with the Prequels but also had the OT on VHS as a kid. While Phantom Menace was very impressive to me as a ten year old thanks to the special effects, as soon as I was old enough to understand what a truly good movie was I have never really cared for the prequels.

I think you underestimate the intelligence of Star Wars fans. Just because some of us weren't 70s and 80s children doesn't mean we value the shitty prequels that much.

I also watched the OT first as a child and got into Star Wars because of it.

I'm saying that there are people younger than us who grew up on the PT and The Clone Wars and their fandom shouldn't be questioned just because they like what you don't.
