For what its worth I was visiting my friend who is pretty far up the food chain at Gamestop and he said the preorders for this game were "disastrously low"
Yeah I can imagine this had a big impact on sales tbhUbisoft plused it
Disney has all but destroyed the IP.I'm surprised to be honest. I wasn't expecting a good game but I thought the IP would secure at least decent sales. It looked like the kind of game that is bashed online but actually performs well.
I literally would have been more interested if it was just a space game that had nothing to do with Star Wars.Well i was wrong, i thought the sw license was still strong enough to cover a mediocre game but alas...
I played outlaws, the Avatar dlc and half of mirage( before I got bored) in a month.Yeah I can imagine this had a big impact on sales tbh
Why pay £100 when you can pay £15 for the month to play and finish it and get the same ultimate edition?
Ubi shot themselves in the foot with how they handle Ubi +.

Yeah, I thought it would sell ok, but not great. This is only 2 days but 800K for AAAa title seems very low, especially Star Wars with its giant licensing fees.Well i was wrong, i thought the sw license was still strong enough to cover a mediocre game but alas...
Yeah, and it makes sense since the game just doesn’t look very appealing.I said this in the middle of Aug in the Star Wars Outlaws PC Gameplay thread so seems he was right

lol seriously. Ubisoft tiresome open world game design combined with Disney/Kathleen Kennedy era Star Wars… can you think of a less appealing combo?I literally would have been more interested if it was just a space game that had nothing to do with Star Wars.
