I feel like if Ahsoka died to Vader last season then there really wasn't much of a point of her surviving the Clone Wars to begin with. Feels like a waste of their best non-movie character.
Other than the fact that she helped build the rebellion.

How long before we get theorigin story?K2SO
314: "Warhead":
Zeb and Chopper bring a damaged droid found in the Atollon wilderness back to base, only to discover that the droid is a new Imperial probe programmed to spy on and destroy rebels.
hmmm
I hope they won't end Kanan and Ezra's storyline in a novel after the show ends.
Like Assajj Ventress.
That would suck.
Episode 316: Legacy of Mandalore
Air date: February 18, 2017
Hoping to get her family to help the Rebels, Sabine returns home with Kanan and Ezra, and finds herself embroiled in her familys power struggle for Mandalore.
Episode 317: Through Imperial Eyes
Air date: February 25, 2017
Fearing that the identity of a rebel spy will soon be discovered by the Empire, the Rebels launch a rescue plan to rescue him before he is caught.
That may be the only way we get one or both of them to die. I highly doubt they'd do it on the show.
I'd accept that but only if they give me a scene of Sabine chilling in a cantina alone during or after the OT somehow at some point(maybe the Boba Fett movie if it happens and isn't a prequel).I hope they won't end Kanan and Ezra's storyline in a novel after the show ends.

With Saw, Mon Motha, and the deathtroopers showing up, what are the odds we see some more Rogue One characters as the show goes on?
Pretty sureAlso don't think we need an origin episode forprobe droids are those funky things from the beginning of Empire.or anyone from any of the films for that matter.K2SO,
I want Rae Sloane.
Spoilers for those of us who can't watch until later?
I want Rae Sloane.
Yup.Cool two parter, they did what I thought was impossible:made me care about a Geonosian.
Hera informed the Rebel council of the state of Geonosis after the episode last season the Rebel council sent Saw and a team to investigate.
The Ghost crew is sent to find Saw.
There is a lone Geonosian alive that is using a shield generator and loads of old battle droids for some reason....
It killed all of Saw's crew.
They capture it and question it, it keeps drawing a circle within a bigger circle,
at first they think it represents the egg it was trying to protect,
later they think it was referring to the Imperial logo on poison gas canisters they find.
It is very obvious to the audience it is the Death Star.
I thought it was actually happening this episode but it seems like it was a random black female Imperial Captain.
Excellent couple of episodes. More multiparters please!
Really enjoyed it. They did a good job of making me care about the Geonosian and portraying Saw as a morally gray asshole. I didn't like that they pulled back on that at the end though, doesn't line up with the Saw of Rogue One. But it's a kids show and the heroes have to learn their lesson at the end right?
And, damn, Rex throwing some shade at Kanan. "He's no Skywalker."
That Predator nod with Saw and Rex. So good.
Sabine's sand line was best part of the show, and her being a proper badass finally.
I noticed Filoni has a writing credit on these two episodes. Glad he still has some involvement in the show.

Everything has to be somewhat small scale as far as the Rebel Alliance is concerned because ANH tells us Rogue One was truly the first major victory. The two parter was... fine... for what it was. I don't think it really gave us much additional insight into Saw's character (in fact barely feels like the same character we see in RO despite the timelines being so close, but whatever). I kinda liked the little Geonosian character and the egg but sadly it's relegated to a plot device for Saw and not much else else.
I'm just kinda done with these recon episodes. Go to location, usually either an abandoned planet or an empire base, retrieve the item or person while fighting, retreat. Feels like half of every season is that over and over. Clone wars was a lot more varied in that regard.
From the previews there's definitely some episodes coming up that look interesting (darksaber, kenobi/maul, hopefully some vader stuff at his castle but maybe that's too hopeful)
So is that egg going to hatch into the same queen that we saw in the Vader comic or was that one a different one altogether? Because if it's the former, then that means there is no future for the species.
Yup. Pablo confirmed it.
It is weird that Saw aged about 30 years, lost both his legs and fucked up his lungs sometime between this episode and Rogue One.
Must have been a rough year!
