Star Wars: The Force Awakens Final Trailer

And now to leave this thread to avoid the minefield of spoilers that seem to be littered about in every one of these Star Wars trailer threads.

What if the guy with the Red Lightsabre is the good guy and we find out Blue Lightsabre guy is really the villain?

That would be a good twist and a change for once.

I don't understand how everyone is ignorant or forgot that they saved the galaxy. It's all stories and myth now, even the jedi? Not buying it

Yeah, even though the dialogue was wonderful I'm caught up on that... it's supposed to have only been like 30 years right?

I just want a fun, coherent adventure movie.

I'm expecting a lot of silly fan service and poetry-it-rhymes wank and predictable retreads.

But I don't care as long as it's well paced, coherent, and fun. As long as it has that energy and momentum a good adventure movie has, even if safe, like the original trilogy.

Naw
Luke about to kick their ass. Why else would all them be there ready to fight?

Look closer.

Bodies all over the ground. Of course, there are troopers wiping out the village too. Anyways just thought it was interesting given Kurosawa's influence on the original

I have to imagine Luke shows up and saves him.

I have this crazy speculation now that might be a huge plot point if true, but its kind of crazy, one of those grey areas where I dont want to say it incase it turns out to be true and ruins anyones experience but dont want it confirmed if it is true.

Balls.

I thought he would be the Jedi, but the more I see this scene the more I think he's not the one with the force.

Just cause you get fucked up, doesn't mean you can't be the shit down the line. Getting fucked up is a right of passage in Star Wars. Luke got fucked up by Vader. Anakin got fucked up by Dooku.

Keep in mind that the galaxy is a big place and many of these people would have been on remote planets or grew up outside the big cities.

To them the Jedi may very well be myth

Why not put it in spoiler tags?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH I'm so nervous about this movie!

The trailer did little calm my fears. Glad so many of you are instantly in love though.

Let's all hope this is one of those rare times in film where reality meets or surpasses our unreasonable expectations.

Don't let GAF ruin your hype for this movie like it has done to you for MCU movies.

Believe in JJ to do this right.

No, Kylo Ren is not Boss Nass

There weren't exactly many Jedi walking around during the OT: You got Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Luke. Han didn't even believe in the Force in the first Star Wars. So of course after 30 more years, unless the Jedi had a big resurgence, even fewer people would believe Jedi existed.

Can we please not mention the prequels in here? This thread is for the real Star Wars fans. Everyone else can just leave.

im not serious.

It was one battle in an ongoing war. Also the whole story with darth/luke was probably only known among a handful of people. Majority of people still think it's all faerie tales.

Even one of the Moffs in Ep. IV didn't believe in the Force, so Vader choked him.

You're probably right, and the remnants of the Empire could easily have covered up a lot of stuff or used propaganda to distort what really happened to the Emperor and Vader.

oh of course. To be real, if you weren't on one of the handful of planets that saw conflict between rebels and imperials, much less the actual presence of a Jedi *in action*, it'd sound like bullshit. Period.

Only those from The Old Republic would have been used to the presence of the Jedi and other masters of The Force.

It's not about getting fucked up or not, it's just that I got a feeling we are being played like a fiddle and the Jedi is going to end up being another character, I'd love for Boyega's character to be the jedi it'll be a welcome change, I just got a feeling we are being trolled.

I think Rey is Luke's daughter. They somehow got her away from him because he became obsessed with the force. So... Why is it nobody raises their kids in Star Wars????

Edit: taking it away cuz people will read it and yell even though I said spoilers, don't read.

The less prequel terminology used the better. Definitely. Don't wanna hear about no sith, no padawans, no midichlorians, or any other such idiocy.

IIRC, the term "Sith" was actually used in OT merchandising and books, just never in the movies themselves.

Why not put it in spoiler tags?

Because someone will reply in spoiler tags and ill have to gamble thats not a spoiler

The games we play

Doesnt matter, I just think there is more to Poe and Kylos interaction, it could be nothing but I think its something big.

I repeat, I do not know and wont go into more details

Wow. Shit. This is gonna be the best Star Wars movie yet, isn't it?

I know trailers can be deceiving, but I totally get whats happening here and I am thrilled. It's a great direction to take the saga.

Please don't be like Phantom Menace. Please don't be like Phantom Menace. Please don't be like Phantom Menace. Please don't be like Phantom Menace.

I left the theater as a kid in shock after my world had been shattered way back in 1999.

Hell I loved the trailer and love the reactions but the stupid assed speculation especially by those who have quite obviously made no effort to keep up with things is just mind numbingly terrible
