Same here, oh well the back to back weeks of play was fun
What pisses me off is last night my account got locked saying I failed to answer the security questions properly. Only thing is I did not try to log in so WTF
I guess I should be happy they have the security measures but I also was reading other people are getting locked out as well or its failing to accept their security answers despite them typing them in properly

Setting it to low also puts Shadows to low and disables Bloom.
I think that is set properly.
I don't think so. Story-wise, they just end up having a "reason" to stick around.
Mechanically, it's designed that you have a companion of every class type so you can always have a tank, healer, dps in their respective range or melee variations.

No, Bioware nixed that "feature" b/c the consequences would be permanent and would leave people at a disadvantage due to missing a companion from a key role.
If you make them happy, some Companions will sex you. Others will just give you their personal quest(s). I know of 1 Companion who supposedly gets a new ability after completing his quest.
That's about it.

Alright, good deal. I just remembe two options being reversed so many they had one fixed.
Just started looking into this game. Played WoW with my wife for years. We quit after we got our 3rd level 85 together. We always level together etc.
What's the playtime hours wise to go from 1-(max level) compared to vanilla wow's 1-60?

Wondering if this game will be worth getting or not. Is end game basically wow like raids?

I enjoyed SW simply for its story.
If they are happy, you have the option to 'bum' them. If they aren't happy with you then your stuck with the virtual 5 finger knuckle shuffle. That's about it really!

Man, Corellia (and Nar Shadda too) are soooooo much better at the city planet feeling (Corellia only takes place in the capital, so as far as the game is concerned it's a city planet) than Coruscant. So disappointed with Coruscant. Almost done with the JK story, just in time!
Dunno about Nar Shaddaa. I think cityplanets are a neat addition to SWTOR, but it comes too soon after Coruscant. I didn't thing that Talos was that interesting, and then having another city planet right after gets a tad boring. Would have switched Tatooine and Nar Shaddaa, with Alderaan after that.
Guh I thought it was like beta testing keys or something!

I wanted to try to push on through to Level 50 one last time, but my brother is going to be here this weekend. I've only got 3.5 levels to go, but I'm not sure if I can make it. Ah well.

Really disappointed that the textures are still blurry mess in a lot of places and there is no AA solution in place. Get some FXAA or MLAA up this joint! Would be good fit for MMO since those are fairly low resource hogs.
They must have hi-res versions of armor textures and i don't get why there is no option to enable them for people who have decent video cards... Even WOW has better texture work than this game.

That's because its bugged and the high res option actually shows low res and low res option shows high res. The real high res textures are fine.

Standard MO toward the end of development as you approach release. Every feature that doesn't work 100% correctly is taken out, and put back in as the team fixes it.
That way the version you have is always the most bug free version that has all the feature in it that works as intended and ready for release.
Another blunder with the e-mail thanking us in participating in this weekend's beta,that I didn`t get this time,and asking us to take the survey? (which I did 2 weeks ago when I was in the beta) lol...anyway at least I can keep patching the launcher and the game it seems so I can start a few days early,even though I pre -ordered the retail version.

A bit slower than vanilla WoW. End game in TOR follows the same raid or die formula that WoW does.

So...Bloom seems to be having major effect on FPS
On starter Sith planet open field area with ruins:
Bloom on ~45-50 FPS
Bloom Off ~80-90 FPS
This is with some settings enabled via Nvidia Inspector (although I am not even sure they take effect)

Ugh I always got a wrench in my stomach when I got Mako affection, it always feels like she's ready to jump your bones at any chance and then she's going to want you to meet her parents, ask her father for her hand, propose in the most glorious mansion on Alderaan, and have 5 kids.
I need same sex romance in this game yesterday.
I'm seriously thinking of switching over to Sawbones with a few points in Scrapper. Also, I need to somehow get Mako, T7, Blizz, Kaliyo, and Khem Val as my companions. Maybe through the power of imagination...
I still want my Smuggler to be gay. Maybe the patch will let me have him come out.
