In for Friday. Excited to try it.
Why am I so excited for this gaaaaaaaaame?
I even feel like skipping out Friday work for it.
For a three day beta in which you'll be starting at a queue or server down message for most of the time?
Yes it has been confirmed. It was posted in the Game Test forums. So I heard that the weekend beta was extended to monday.
Any conformation?
Amber Green said:To our existing testers: at 10:00AM CST on Friday 11/25, you will notice several new servers appear in server selection for the weekend test to accommodate all our weekend testers. You are welcome to create characters on these new servers, but please note that they will only be available for the duration of the weekend test, which ends on 11/28 at 11:59PM CST (11/29 5:59 London, 6:59 Paris/Berlin).

Another FAQ: those who played in the Nov 11-13 weekend, and general testers, will keep their characters for the upcoming #SWTOR weekend.

I get to start on Saturday morning,11 EST..will I be able to keep playing my Trooper that I levelled to 9, 2 weeks ago at least?...I know beta characters will be wiped on launch but during the beta?
Anyone else been updating the client from the previous weekend today? Only getting 100 kb/s, and guessing it's due to the volume (still able to pull other stuff down from Steam/etc at faster paces, but not on my normal network, visiting relatives).
Speaking of phasing, there isn't a thirty minute recharge for changing phases like last time, is there? That got old real quick.I think they'll probably do a restrictive queue first and probably have a few thousand people on it at once just to see what happens, and how they can prepare for it. Not to mention heavy on all the phasing too.

What does the tester page say for you?I didn't get a confirmation email about a set time when I "reserved" my spot. I just got an email that they got my confirmation and I'm in for the weekend. Does that mean that I'm good to go when servers are online in general, or did their systems bork and I didn't get a proper testing email, though my account shows I'm in it for the test?

That means you haven't gotten the "when you can start" email yet. Which means you are most likely Saturday or Sunday. It says I'm good to go for the weekend. Nothing about times that I see mentioned. Just start and finish, which I thought was odd since people are getting set times when they can start.
Yeah, you should have a mail that has this text in:
Almost time. Whoo!
wow, this thread has been an absolute snooze fest these last few pages. Just different variations of "got in LOL" and "cant wait"
Darn! I forgot to redeem my beta code I got through RPS. Is there anyway to get into this weekends beta some other way?
Biggest problem im having so far is the constant getting "stuck" while running around... and in a spectacular move bioware made the /stuck command a suicide switch that doesn't even manage to fix the fact that you are stuck unless you rez at the med station.
Questing in Taris already is a pain due to the way the zone "flows" but add to that the aggravation of getting stuck everywhere and it makes you dont want to play.
10:00am CST is what time pacific time?
Is this based on the current build or an older build?
Downloading it now, really only under 2 gigs huh? cool.
alright i am still determined to get this game come Dec 20. BUT i have one question for those that played the beta or just know this:
- If you buy the physical copy of the game, do you STILL need to run the actual game through Origin somehow or can you be completely independent from that platform ?
how do you know what day you get?
