SWTOR and Tales of the Abyss 3d on the same day, and I need to work on a paper too. Holy shit.
Like RPing (real RPGs, PnP ones) but this system doesn't sound so good. One name per server, for all characters regardless alignment or species? Sounds really crappy system IMO.
Do we have to choose a name?
Why the hell are we limited to one surname per server anyway?
Just because apparently.
Guys, I suggest you don't invest too heavily into it this weekend. just remember your toons will be wiped.
Definitely. Just look at it as a means of getting an idea of which class you would like to play. If you'd like to play an IA (like I am) try out the smuggler so you don't ruin the story.
You'll be able to begin testing Star Wars: The Old Republicvery soon! Your test begins:
Saturday, November 26 at 10:00AM CST
Yay! Oh wait, lol
Where did you see that? I didn't see a date for me.
How are you ruining the story? You are playing through it.
I would recommend playing the character you want to play so that when you get to retail you have some idea of how to play the class and can skip cutscenes without losing out on the story to quickly get off the starter planet and the mass of levelers.
It's not letting me log in to the main site. In fact the login option is gone...
If I try to go to Account settings it says Page Not Found.

Logins for #SWTOR.com are temporarily disabled.
They've been having troubles with it so looks like they've just taken the logins down completely until they can make it stable.
Log in issues could be because every single person who's ever registered for the beta over the past 2 years as well as tens of thousands of other people who got codes are all trying to log in simultaneously. Just sayin'
Could be..
But why does it happen? Why is it allowed to happen? Seriously, they need to expand the system to handle twice the amount of traffict at least. Otherwise no one is going to be able to play on the launch day. And since it is so close to Christmans... well, i wonder if anyone is solving problems then.
I RSVPd before I received the email and still haven't gotten any info about when I can play. :[
I guess I didn't get it. My emails didn't say anything. I did RSVP before they emailed me to submit my RSVP.
Hurray, friday it is!
How do you all know that? As i said i get any emails, if i get any, so damn late... FFS. I want to know!
I'm not seeing an actual pre-order number in there, it just says the survey indicates that that many people could possibly be playing.
Regardless, I still know it is a nice amount of people who pre-ordered, and i'm one of the filp-floppers who'll eventually play both.
People were saying they went and made it too hard. Before it was too easy, and then they said they went to extreme with difficulty
Ditto...
Edit: Just got mine. friday HOOOOO!
Got in for Friday! Can't wait to play this again.
That's correct. I'll give you an example. Ravaged Reconstruction was damn near impossible after the enemy buff. The quest is way way too long as it is and then it was hard as hell as well. I had two groups wipe out on it. The second group was composed of three people who were above the recommended level for the mission by 2 levels and one was at the recommended level. We got destroyed by some of the enemies to the point that we simply just couldn't beat it.
