I'm playing on the EU server Goluud Corridor (French). If this is anything like WoW, the languages are only the suggested chat language for the server anyway. It had the shortest queue in Europe.

EDIT: Fuck it, I can't see 750 people casually leaving within an hour of the beta weekend starting. I'm going to some random US server too.

Well ok, queues are working for EU servers, Bioware, but I'm not gonna test queues the whole weekend. An US server it is.

Running into a bug where I can't log into my character from the last weekend test. Quite a few are running into the same thing it seems. Gunna role an IA in the mean time.

Still searching for adequate settings for my laptop.
Mouse on default sensitivity is crazy, cahnged strafing to A and D from Q,E...

Second level...

20 fps on max, 20 fps on medium... I guess there's just too many people in the same spot it's lagging the game. Such a shame, but predictable.

Been on a loading screen at start up for 30mins with no indication of anything happening. Working as intended?

The wee loading symbol in the corner keeps spinning but nothing else is happening.

Oh man, the dialogues are so Mass Effect-y... your character is constantly being handed invisible items just outside of screen space.

Wait, can I say that?

Didn't get the memo regarding the 14th Amendment

If the NDA is lifted, then yes. You can say that.

I was totally looking forward to this again after the last beta weekend I was in (about a month ago?) but after starting I just didn't feel like playing. I don't really want to get tired of the starting content before the game even comes out. I'll just have to do some research on the advantages & disadvantages of the various tank classes and pick from that before the game comes out.

Stopped at level 4. I really like the questing with this game. Yeah, it's got your standard "go kill this x amount times" but the rest is refreshing to see and hear. Ha! Anywho, I like what I see so far. Will play a lot more tonight and over the weekend. By then I'll have a real good impression as a whole.

Am I the only one with fps troubles? I got about 35 average in the outdoor levels. I got 6950 in crossfire. This makes me sad. :( I was hoping that I would get 60+ fps average without any troubles.

I tried disabling crossfire, but it didn't really help.

So yeah, server i was on had an error, and kicked me out, i restarted the client and now i'm watching the loading screen and nothing else.

Getting the same error. Tried upgrading from Cata 11.9 -> 11.11 (ATI 6870 HD, Win XP 32) and it didn't help.

I fixed this error just now by creating a new windows user account named SWTOR and starting the launcher with it. My default account name has a blank space in it as well as unicode characters.

MUCH better experience this time, loaded the client at 10:30 and instantly got my character back from last weekend. Created a new one just for the hell of it and was into the game in 10min

Just logged out to get some breakfast and instantly logged back in

Compared to last week this is like a totally different game as far as wait times and frustrations

I am on Ignut Road (I think that is the server)

played for another two hours this morning.. Jedi Knight. still not sure how I feel. graphics are SO hit or miss it's confusing as hell. Heads will look great but the bodies suck, the monsters are pretty cool, the environment is super inconsistent..

I have fun killing things though! Some icons are confusing, the quest one doesn't make sense, and i'm surprised it LODs out so quickly - you'd think the quest icon would be visible as far as you can see.

the amount of running without anything going on is killing me though, spent like 2-3 minutes just getting somewhere, boring :(

Can't wait to see a new planet though, and do some party quests

You might have access tomorrow then. Didn't you get a mail with your starting date and time?

I did, it says tomorrow 10 AM but I did get confused when I saw a couple of people here playing it (not at the The Old Republic booth, but at their own computers).

While I know your 6950s are on a different planet to my 5770, I'm kind of underwhelmed by the performance:visuals ratio. I am upgrading next week for retail though, my decision to splash out has already been justified.
