Just won a very entertaining game where I made 200 population of drones and queens to feed my ally who called down nukes over most of the map while producing marines from 20 barracks. It was pretty fun getting a couple hundred APM from just econ macro lol.
My team has dropped to from 1st place plat to 3rd place though
Don't play much 2v2 so it's hard to keep with the game massers (and players who use real strats every game).

I just got into the beta about a week or two ago on a friend invite. Was placed in bronze league before the wipe, but haven't played enough placement games to get into the leagues afterwards.
I'm finally starting to learn how useful colossi are. In a PvP I outmacroed this guy (he was kind of camping at the top of his ramp so I went and took an expo) but his colossi and immortals made up for lack of numbers against my zealot/sentry/stalker army. We ended up trading bases (I warped in a bunch of things at his base while he was destroying mine) but I ended up winning because I had another island expo and he had no way to get to it. :lol

You should get in the habit of knowing what your opponent is doing, especially as terran since you have the benefit of orbital commands. Speaking on that matter, using the extra supply ability is really something I look at as a last resort sorta deal, only if I need to have another 8 supply right away, you're better off looking for an expansion with a scan sweep or checking his main base for key tech structures to give you an idea of what he's planing.

By the end the only person with a consistent base was the Terran player, who had lifted off his orbital command and hid it in the corner of the map with a few Battlecruisers while he went around mopping up the remains of the enemy on the map so they couldn't get back on their feet.

I saw the most sick banshee rush yesterday.. I don't even know how to play Terran but I really wanna try it one game .. I may just try it in a custom 1v1 or something but it was so sick.

Finishing the upgrades for SC2 on the go when the mac client is released (more ram, SSD HD and mixamp for the soundcard) - friends finally started using the key's that were sent to me - but I forgot how demoralising the game is at the start and the difference in skill depending on the amount you play. Despite my APM being very very low the fact that I can rush them with 6 marines before they get their first zealot.
Also in a way, makes me feel better about how far this game does push you competitively. Can not wait to get back home to play some more ~

Instead of a banshee rush on 11 supply (making no other units except for 11 SCV's). I would skip a supply depot by having two SCV's kill each other which makes the banshee pop out a few seconds faster.TurtleSnatcher said:

The shout caster even shows the vision of the Zerg and the overlord pulled back since it was walking into a terran base with a barracks that he did see..
Go to 4:35 of the video.. it shows this.. Not sure what you are seeing of a Starport from the Zergs vision.
