see that moon over there , you can be on itI hope he likes helping settlements just like our general.
Just upgrade your GPU on your PC it doesn't need to be super expensive to outperform the X.It looks good but...THAT framerate, ooof...
shootouts at 20+ fps is just nope, sorry gents
No you can land anywhere on the planets, watch the first deep dive.Looks good but something is a little off. Todd said it himself at the start - When you land, you search that area around it. You don't get to land anywhere on a planet it seems. There are distinct areas per planet which move the story forward presumably. It's still got potential as it looks as though it's Elite with narrative elements.
I plan on upgrading my PC for this but I think I'll be playing this on the console first barring game breaking bugs. PC parts prices are just ridiculous at this time. I think I'll wait a little while longer either for the next gen gpus or price drops. I think it works out so there will be enough interesting mods and bug fixes when I do so.Just upgrade your GPU on your PC it doesn't need to be super expensive to outperform the X.
Only Game Pass has promised:This strategy preceded GamePass so...
duh. this doesn't negate that "Day One" is meaningless when "Negative Day One" exist. It's a clear and obvious way to boost preorders and capture more 'premium' purchases of more pricey SKUs.
"Pay to Play Early"Also a way to pad up premium editions to make them more attractive.
All you pathetic SOB's who can't handle 30fps. Man you guys deserve nothing.
Definitely some shady shit in the Bethesda store for the Constellation Edition. Got numerous errors about country of origin shipping even though I'm in the US. Payment plan through Paypal went through but I see nothing in my Bethesda orders. They charged me twice
Constellation Edition US only??
Ok I'll bite...
30fps in a game like this is an horrible experience especially on an OLED.
I'll accept it and adjust to it over time and so will many others but it's a jarring experience that takes a while to adjust to for a lot of people, We're not bitches for wanting or expecting pretty basic performance targets for 2023 on custom 10-12tf Zen2 CPU machines.
Dude… c’mon, I play on PC as well but it’ll be a god damn miracle if Starfield is in any sort of playable state at launch on PC.Omg it looks amazing, can't wait but thank God I play on pc.
Looks really good. One of the few big AAA so far, if not the only one, that looks next-gen. Wish I had an Xbox or PC to play it.
What I can "handle" versus what I choose which is objectively a much better experience are two different things. If I for some reason HAD to play it on consoles sure I'd suffer through it and play @ 30fps. But once you play games at a higher fps where it truly matters like in a game such as Starfield it's a really tough pill to swallow going back to 30fps, it simply feels terrible. But playing Starfield @ 120fps with max settings is not achievable for $500 so that's where people have to decide how important it is.All you pathetic SOB's who can't handle 30fps. Man you guys deserve nothing.
Agree. Peak gamer whiney behavior. All you pathetic SOB's who can't handle 30fps. Man you guys deserve nothing.
Bethesda are the only ones right now who know how to make a next gen game. Money well spent by Microsoft.
That would certainly be better than nothing.I don’t even own consoles but for all we know they have a VRR mode >40 fps. We don’t know.
I dont think there are alien races in the game, there are alien wildlife and monsters and stuff. It looked great but will they have alien life? I get it exploration is great but the worlds seemed pretty empty and something like a citadel would be amazing with this engine.
I will play it on xbsx and my pc, thanks to saves syncing etc. will be playing on platform that I feel i want to at that specific moment. Got monster pc so will go max settings with 60+ fps and when I want to go big screen I will just jump to xbsx. I am not bothered with 30 fps at all. Bethesda games don’t need to be 60 fps. It is mostly exploration for me that always Get me in their games. Full immersion with the worlds they build. What I can "handle" versus what I choose which is objectively a much better experience are two different things. There are plenty of games smaller in scope, space games even. Many want space games to feel as expansive as our universe, this is who Starfield is for. You are 100% allowed to not like it, but its' size shouldn't be used as a point of criticism as that's the whole point.Too big honestly. Why do they feel games need to be this huge? Could've made 5 normal games in this size.
This is intimidating and scary to start playing a game this huge. I think it's size is t it's detriment
Normally i'd agree but Zelda plays just fine on my C2, which surprised me as my experience with 30fps on this TV has be fucking awful in general.Ok I'll bite...

You could just upgrade for £30, as id imagine you'd be getting the expansion anyways.Starfield will be the first exclusive MS game I buy since Game Pass, only to play it 5 days early.
I agree, we can only hope that the procedural aspect of the planets are up to the challenge of making each planet interesting. As this specific point was addressed directly during the showcase, I would like to believe that it is indeed going to be the case. As always, time will tell. That "hundreds of planets" is scary. I don't want to play in empty environments.
