I can't see whoever wins the socks actually paying. Anyone at the top is probably refreshing constantly waiting for another bid to come in. Sounds like a good intention gone wrong.

Been waiting for a long time for a sale on this game. Today I'm getting caught up in the hype for Two Worlds 2 and I'm considering giving Risen a skip now :lol
Lol. $15 is tempting but I'm probably going to wait for Xmas and hope for 75%vermadas said:Risen is on sale for $14.99

Drkirby said:Yeah, he is likely going to have to do down the list of people on the top to see if any of them will pay what they bid. But maybe he will get lucky and someone will honestly want to make a large donation to Child's Play and get a cool pair of socks.
Yeah, such drms on Steam games are stupid (at least older games).TouchMyBox said:I would so be all over this if it weren't for the DRM.

I would be all over Risen if it didn't have that 3 activation limit. I have only heard incredible things about it.
Kerrinck said:About the DRM, it seems like they give 1 activation back every 45 days http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=17035182&postcount=1
Still crappy though.
wait for it to come out. ea's trying to get you to preorder it on their site. don't let them win.burgerdog said:Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit's release date is Tuesday and it's still not listed on steam. Should I just forget about wanting to buy this game on steam?
I will wait, not buying either console version so it's steam or nothing.Nabs said:wait for it to come out. ea's trying to get you to preorder it on their site. don't let them win.
I can help.Kerrinck said:Can anyone help me get Risen? It is currently blocked in my country.
Will pay in advance.

There's always a chance that it won't show up on Steam at all. EA is flaky with their Steam support.Nabs said:wait for it to come out. ea's trying to get you to preorder it on their site. don't let them win.
Risen is being made available worldwide as we speak.

For the love of god, everyone buy this!
Risen was the 2009 RPG GOTY.
So great, so great.....
Open world, exploration, great graphics especially the lighting.
And its hard! Old-school RPG hard. The world is truly dangerous.
