Yes. Sorry. Seems there are TONS of extra copies people have. Try to get one from someone who ISNT selling them.

From people here? Well if anyone has an extra copy, I'd love to play Dirt 3. :lolHawk xSx said:Yes. Sorry. Seems there are TONS of extra copies people have. Try to get one from someone who ISNT selling them.
Think again bro. Though I did manage to grab a key, so whatever.nexen said:Is it all of us because, hell, I doubt a single person in this thread is from India?
If you are from India then my message obviously doesn't apply to you. You are in the right!wutwutwut said:Think again bro. Though I did manage to grab a key, so whatever.
This peak could not have lasted longer than about 1.1 microseconds, seeing as how your total download was only at 135 MB.theusedversion said:Steam says I have the fastest internet in the world. Awesome! 116.5 TB/S

hahaha. Awesome. I did my part for the development of India then.Gvaz said:Think of it this way, they'll think that there's lot of attention for better computer parts in those countries and investors will push in those zones :V
Great post, I have fourteen hours on it myself.AngryChinchilla said:Faerie Solitaire should be a must buy for that price. I picked it up during the summer sale along with 30 or so other games, but it by far has been my biggest time sink. Maybe its the sound the cards make when you start to get a combo, the satisfying feeling of perfecting a level, or the life saving power-ups. I'm like 8 hours in and am only about 40% through the story, and yet I can't wait to get home from work to go play it. Yes, I'm craving to play a solitaire game.
It's based on the golf variant, actually.AngryChinchilla said:(note: it's not like normal solitaire that can be found on Windows, probably closer to spider solitaire.)
? You can build a top-of-the-line gaming rig here already.Gvaz said:Think of it this way, they'll think that there's lot of attention for better computer parts in those countries and investors will push in those zones :V
There have been countries other than india in these deals, and I'm pretty certain most people who obtained keys were not in those countries.wutwutwut said:? You can build a top-of-the-line gaming rig here already.
Fair enough, though PC gaming has historically been much bigger than console gaming in developing countries.Gvaz said:There have been countries other than india in these deals, and I'm pretty certain most people who obtained keys were not in those countries.

It's worth every penny for Warband; I've sunk 80 hours into it the last two weeks. I definitely understand waiting for a lower price though.Derrick01 said:I'd say no. You don't need the original if you have Warband and most fans of the series don't like the newest one because of how much the firearms break the game and the multiplayer. So basically just wait for a sale on Warband.
Oops, sorry.Foliorum Viridum said:I don't have a spare one, just to prevent anyone else PMing me I only grabbed one for Stop It and he's playing it as I type this!
It sure is!Gvaz said:Is dirt 3 really 11GB, because I'm at my dad's house (350KB/s) and it's going to take forever on that connection compared to my apartment (2MB/s)
I'd literally have to have it downloading all day.

That's your own strange psychological issue.Petrie said:It's sad now knowing Dirt 3 was free to people, as I was interested in eventually picking it up, but not any "good" price it sees in a sale I'll think "yeah but it could've been free" and end up never picking it up. A shame really.
Yeah, I agree. Dirt 3 is an excellent game and worth paying for. Sounds like you didn't really want it anyways except just to have on your list. *shrug*SteveWinwood said:That's your own strange psychological issue.

Petrie said:Nope. Hell, a ton of other people react the exact same way. We had dozens upon dozens of posters over the holiday sale who when Terraria went up in price said "I'd have bought it at $5 but knowing others got it for $2.50 I just can't do it. This isn't an uncommon reaction. The CAG in me won't pay more knowing something was available for much less, especially with so much else to play.
I don't collect Steam games, I'm not that guy. If I want a game it's because I plan to play it.

Whatever mindfuckery is in your head because of it being free shouldn't affect you wanting it.
But if it does....

You are right. But it is a psychological issue, even if extremely common.Petrie said:Nope. Hell, a ton of other people react the exact same way. kswiston said:That's not really the same thing though. While Terraria is definitely worth full price (nevermind $5), I can see people being ticked off that they missed out on the $2.50 deal hours/minutes before they had a chance to buy it.
You are sad that people took advantage of a giveaway (aimed at developing countries) to get a free game, and that the codes ran out before you were able to do the same. This would be like saying "I totally would have seen The Dark Knight in theatres, but I read that some people in my city got invited to a free screening. I'm not going to pay to see a movie knowing people got to see it for free."
