For what it's worth the previous summer sale began around 2:30 EST on Thursday the 24th. I remember people here flipping out since it didn't all go up instantaneously. The discounts were applied before the splash page went up. It was like Thousands of items in the Specials tab. Took around an hour to get up and working I think.

Thursay or Friday is my bet for the Summer Sale. I leave on Vacation Thursday and will be up in the Mountains with no internet for 5 days so there are pretty good odds I will get screwed.

People: last years summer sale was the first one and it came out of the blue. Just because it happened around this time last year doesn't mean it'll happen again.
