Picked up a bunch of stuff. I've been waiting on a good deal for the warchest. Been wanting to replay COD2 for awhile. Bought COD4 to replace a disc copy I have. Bought MW2 map-packs, which I almost bought yesterday after reinstalling the game. And also got WaW for fun. Black Ops is too much.

I haven't played Call of Duty 2 for a few years, but it has the best COD campaign along with MW1, maybe even better.

I think it holds up well if you don't mind health packs. Infinity Ward was made up of ex-2015 guys (the ones who made Medal of Honor Allied Assault) and it's interesting to see how they took things further.

I bought a physical copy of Modern Warfare (1) back when it was released. I've played through the single player campaign twice, did the speedrun for the bonus level and played countless hours of multiplayer both competively and public, yet I'm tempted to buy it again just to own it on Steam.

GEE, I DUNNO.

I bought it on XBLA and although it's not as awesome as I remember, it was a fun ride.

I had nostalgia for it, though. Not sure how much fun it would be without those memories.

fuck yes i did. I log into steam this morning, come back to my PC after a while and get a warning that my Steam partition is running out of space... fucking CODBO was redownloading itself...

hell i logged into it just to see if it was for real and somehow it even saved all my stats and custom classes and shit. just didn't have my favorite servers and my custom class names.

I remember hating COD2's campaign just because of having to run up some stairs in houses with enemies camped there and dying over and over again on a certain level.

W@W has weaker mulitplayer and a weaker campaign, but there is 4 player co-op which is quite good.

MW1's community still had plenty of active servers going when I checked it out a month or so ago.

well in the Uk it's 6.99 for Limbo and 9.99 for COD4

probably best for Europeans/UK to do deal - unless you wanted to get cod4 anyway and don't mind helping a gaffer in the process.

But give me some time to make up my mind. If I decide to get it, I'll gift you Limbo. Two birds one stone; help you get an awesome game, and I get what I want.

I have BF3 preordered. I don't know if I'll have time for this.

I don't think it's ever gone lower. It's worth it though, I replayed it recently and it's still pretty damn fun.

I played a bit of the Star Wars maps but I kept getting booted by punkbuster.

Spec-ops, the co-op portion of the game, is incredible.

Was going to pick up MW2 since I'm finally get an actual gaming PC for the first time in over 10 years but then I realized it's still $15. Really wanted to pick up Blops and MW2 but since Blops is only 33% off I just can't justify it with the price of my new computer + monitor. At least MW3 is right around the corner.

Picked up MW1.

Was surprisingly easy to get back into the swing of it. Seemed a little sluggish at first for a PC shooter but.. it's not bad. Active enough games, too.

Also, I never knew I had so much nostalgia for a 4 year old online FPS, haha. Playing this takes me back to playing this on the 360 when the whole Modern Warfare thing was still pretty fresh and interesting.

Also, I forgot how mental games of COD were online. Played that for about half an hour and I think my eyes are bleeding.

so played black ops and i wonder why do like all my friends have to be console gamers?! =(

game is so much funner pc and now for some reason i have an even bigger urge to buy the warchest and i'll prolly wait for mw3 instead of getting mw1 or mw2

Tough call. I'd go with MW1, MW2 and COD2 over it (if you don't already own them), but it was still a decent campaign. I've always preferred WW2 weaponry over the modern stuff and it's a big step up over COD3. Then again, COD3 was a flaming bag of dog shit so that doesn't say much.

tempted but after awhile that game pissed me off on 360 with all the killstreaks spawn killing me left right along with noob tubes one man army etc and afaik its not using dedicated servers

also back to staring at the cod warchest in my cart lol

I don't know if the playlists are the same as they are on the 360 but there's an Objective Barebones and a Free-for-All Barebones where killstreaks are deactivated. Sadly there's usually only a couple hundred people playing those playlists compared to the absolutely high number in other playlists. That could be different for PC though.
