Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but if you haven't pre-purchased Space Marine on Steam yet, you can get it from Direct2Drive for $38.21, which includes Darksiders as well, both of which will activate on Steam. (Just activated Darksiders, and confirmation of SM using Steamworks here)

Really loving this trend of getting PC games for less than $49.99 these past few weeks. Deus Ex, Red Orchestra 2, Dead Island- masterrace.jpg etc. etc.

In case you haven't found them steam\userdata\<userid #>\28050\

You might end up with problems though. Some in this thread, on the official forums are having issues.

No. You can find a list of games that can be purchased elsewhere and activated on Steam here. No EA games are on that list.

Ok one last time before I press the buy button: I'm better with COD4 than MW2 for multiplayer? If I remember correctly, MW2 doesn't have dedicated servers right?

Cheers, I just checked out using that. I was thinking of waiting a bit on the game, but I think that was enough to push me over the edge.

Is it possible to receive a game through Steam trading that I don't own, and then trade it to someone else? Or is it instantly activated like when accepting a gift through the regular gifting system?

No worries, you can trade the game away, even if you don't own it.

Went ahead and got MW2 for SP/Spec Ops. I've playing Blops MP trial (practice games with bots). I pretty much suck, even the bots are owning me) So I doubt I'll be going online anytime soon. I do remember having fun with MW1 (other than constantly getting killed by nades). But at $15 SP/Spec Ops (solo) seems like a good deal.

Tempting. I did have a lot of fun with the demo. But I'm going to pass until it hits $10-$15.

It is 38 bucks plus tax at Direct 2 Drive with the retail15 code. Plus you get Darksiders for free with it which unlocks on Steam.

Darksiders is worth it if you don't have it, if your choice of FPS is Homefront of the Call of Duty Warchest, get the Warchest.

Ok, did a match three bock puzzle, got 18 pieces of eight, which I guess is 2.25 pieces.

If you're at all interested in the early COD games I highly recommend the warchest. It's only been on sale one other time. Othwise you'll be paying $20 for each of the three. :eek:p

Puzzle Pirates is boring.

Just Finished up VVVVVV finally, enjoyed the Red Tower level, and the final area the most.
