Yeah, just checked, added nothing. Good news is the expansion is up on the European store for 5 euros

And it doesn't seem to have that -50% thing, so i guess it will cost 5€ / $5 after the sale too.

So i don't have to hurry.

Is Duke Nukem Forever worth it for 20 bones? Amazon has it up for that price right now. I know they patched the two weapon limit up to four, but I'm still reluctant to pull the trigger.

Why did you wait for it to drop from $50 to $20? Are you planning on playing it right away? If not, it will 100% guaranteed be cheaper this Christmas, so why not hold out a few months?

$5 or less is what I'm waiting for.

Because he means digitally on Amazon, which is just a Steamworks code, which is the same as buying on Steam. But yeah, he could just buy it from the Steam client so as to not have to enter the code :p

That's true. Half of the reason I want it is because I feel like I need it in my collection because it's a piece of gaming history, even if it was a massive disappointment on many levels. On the other hand, my wife and I have twins on the way and we're expecting them in December. My free time for games to decrease significantly to the point where I may not have any time to play them at all for a year or so.

So the real question is, if I buy it now, will I play through it before then? It's looking doubtful...

Oh, I only saw the Amazon link on CAG. Yeah, I would buy it straight from Steam then.

As long as the kids are babies you'll have plenty of playing time. It's when they 're 1+ that it stops.

What kind of baby did you have?

Anyway, Cities in Motion is kind of a turd, for those on the fence about it.

I have 2 girls. Both slept well quite soon leaving me plenty of time to play while I satyed up to give them the last feed of the night. Also babies tend to just lay around.

It's when they start crawling/walking that your free time is gone.

I can only hope I'm so lucky. We are also having girls.

But then when they get to be aobut 3-4 then you can start playing games with them. Thats what I did with my son. Had him sit in my lap while on the pc and he thought it was the best until I put an extra controller in his hand, then I was super-dad.

True. My oldest is four. She used to sit on my lap with an unplugged controller and loved every minute of it. Nowadays the controller is plugged in and she even completed some games from start to finish (mostly on DS) Sad thing her DS broke last week, I'm torn wether to buy her a new DS or level her up to the 3DS for future-proofing.

My daughter is 15 months. I was constantly up and down with her, or her mom wanting me to do something. Barely had any free time at all.

I've had one of Javaman's kids tell me "Stop sniping, Volcano!" over his mic once.

It was d'awwww

So in other words you're saying you want your GAF username changed to Volcano? We can arrange that.

That's just what we call you to your face. :eek:P

If anyone has any trouble getting Call of Juarez BiB to work, open up the properties of the executable, choose the compatibility tab and disable desktop composition. Worked like a champ for me when I was stuck with a black screen on launch.

Still thinking on MTG. I used to play Yu-gi-oh in high school....

I was getting laid though! A lot!

It's not a whole lot different, so you might dig it.

Sadly, it doesn't have the same panties dropping power as Yu-gi-oh.

I got an error message every time I try to by something on Steam:
" It seems that an error has occurred while initializing or updating of your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again, or ask for help from the support. "

What to do ?

Just have to wait and/or send a ticket to support if you want. Don't keep trying too often either, as Steam will block purchases on your account.

I just recently went through this, you have to send a ticket to steam support. The problem with mine was that my IP address was from a different location than my credit card.

It took steam support almost a week to resolve the issue, but they eventually unlocked my account, and took the restriction off.

So much for the Paradox sale counting down to Sengoku on Steam, because it's today's deal haha

People were looking forward to it? Any good Previews/impressions you know of that I might read?
