I told myself i wasn't going to buy more games for a while. To much money wasted, and I don't even have the time.

But Darksiders (a ZELDA like game) for 5 bucks is so tempting. Damn you Steam, MUST... RESIST.

So the digital mag um... sucks

Its all old content from June also
Its video & audio clips, could have been done as a website and not 2gb download

It's a beta. Of course the content is old.

What sucks about it?

The 2gb download for such little content... The most interesting part of this issue was the graphics before and after

The other parts were lame. 1 was a 15 second trailer the other was watching guys play crysis 2 while throwing only garbage bags

The tf2 part I thought would have shown class tips and tricks but it just showed places on the map that where good to stand on

and. anyone having trouble trying to get the 360 controller to work with Darksider? only thing that work is the start button.

EDIT: Derped. had the ps3 controller plugged in as well.

Searched a few pages but didn't find anything.

How's King Arthur?

It seems like I send out heroes and they do everything for me while I build castles and shit? Saw a review comparing it to Total War.

Unplug any extra controllers you might have. The game plays great with a 360 pad.

I played with kb/m until the last dungeon and thought it worked really well. I like turning sensitivity way up in third person games with a mouse. And I recall it being a lot easier to direct the melee in darksiders with mouse than it is in like Warhammer 40k (where I'm still playing with a mouse even though the melee is way better on the pad).

Downloading now haha. PCGamer cost 25bucks in Australia cause they import it. I was offering Napoleon Tw for a Caitlyn code in the LoL thread and noone took me up on it. Other peoples loss if this works.

Is anyone hosting a Renegade Ops 4 pack, or has a spare copy they'd like to sell?

Also, Chrome seems to have stopped recognising steam://install/... links for me - it just runs a Google search when I enter a steam link in the address bar. It used to work... does anyone know how to get it to recognise the steam:// protocol again?

Try the steam://install/ link again, I just tried that link 2 minutes ago and it's currently downloading for me. At 5% so far.

Edit: Beaten!

Oh, it was just abit weird, I started downloading it on my laptop, but it doesnt appear on my pc's steam library >.< so I just did the trick!

Most free games don't show up in your library until you actually start downloading them.

I was surprised when Alien Swarm completely vanished from my library after I deleted local content. A pleasant surprise.

pre ordered COD Modern Warfare 3 on steam tonight.

that's Battlefield 3 and COD MW3 pre ordered and out of the way for my fall/xmas gaming.

feels good.

Not sure about Chrome but you can launch those from the Windows Run menu by pasting them in and hitting enter.
