anyone wanna trade my copy of The Whispered World for Gundemonium Recollection? otherwise ill just give it away (forgot i had it) but i kinda wanna try those games. Any good?

Yeah, Fatshark is aware of the problem though and is working on getting it fixed:

Hello,

We have now narrowed down the problem and it seems as the purchase doesn't enable the DLC license as it should do. This is an issue that is within the Steam backend and we have contacted them since this will have to be solved from their side. It should hopefully be solved shortly.

They should have been like "It's a puzzle game, DUHHH, you're dumb if you can't solve the puzzle and find the DLC". And then stealth-enabled it a week later after everyone was confused.

What?

Edit: Using Steam in offline mode seems to have buggered the Debunked, Open Minded and Gladiator achievements -- I unlocked them yesterday, but they don't seem to have carried over when I went online.

Valve should remove the "HDR available" list item. It's redundant at this point.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet but Costume Quest and Gemini Rue Retail have been added to the steam registry.

I remember both of these being on some Gaffers wishlists.

Costume Quest is a new one (I don't think a PC version was ever officially announced), and I remember there was a large fuss about Steam rejecting GR.

Awesome! Have wanted to play Costume Quest, but never really felt like getting it on 360, but it'll be on my Steam Wishlist for sure.

And Gemini Rue is a definite buy for me.

Nope, you need a key. Don't know how common they are though, since all the focus has been on the DotA 2 beta. :p

Amazing games, GR especially. Hopefully they sell well enough.

Would be awesome if GR's pub would give those of us who already bought the game through them a Steam key too, heh.

Ugh. Ok, well new mission. Find a key. I've been a long time cs:s player and it'll be great if they finally come up with a game to bridge the gap between 1.6 and cs:s. Hopefully they get some good feedback during the beta and make that happen.

Both are day 1's for me. I'm thrilled to see Double Fine is putting their stuff on PC now. I do hope Gemini does the whole Steamworks thing too.

I really enjoyed it (with a controller) but sometimes the game feels cheap against the AI. It's still worth trying, but then again I wipe my ass with $10s so it's tough to say.

EDIT: Just realised, the recent Psychonauts update gives a lot of credence to this. Can't wait!

I wouldn't get too excited just yet. Costume Quest on PC is likely THQ just testing the waters as opposed to a clear sign of things to come.

if we see CQ, we'll probably see Stacking. Not sure about trenched. MS published it.
