Full screen doesn't work for me for some reason. Even with that picked in the menu it still launches in maximised mode :\ I fiddled with it for a while last night but I couldn't get it to work.Stallion Free said:How does it look fullscreen?

Terms:
I win if there is a Summer sale event before September 1st, 2011. You buy me a $10 Steam game of my choice during the sale.
You win if there isn't. I buy you a $20 Steam game of your choice at any point thereafter.
"Summer sale event" is defined as a broad summer sale, more substantial than daily or weekly sales or per-publisher events, by may include events similar in scope to the Thanksgiving sale two years ago or the treasure hunt sale last year.
Arbitration:
In the event of a disagreement over whether the sale counts, "Mrs." SalsaShark decides based on the definition provided above. If she isn't acceptable to you, feel free to pick another frequent poster in here.
Wanna take the bet?
Come on now, as if maximizing your purchasing power is some completely off the wall motive?? Waiting for a sale is ENTIRELY legitimate and reasonable.Amneisac said:I'm as cheap as the next guy, but posts about waiting on $9.99 games (especially very new games) to go on sale just drive me up the fucking wall. No personal offense intended, but a brand new game with a terrific amount of content came out recently (Terraria) for $9.99 LAUNCH PRICE ($7.50 bundle price) and you're waiting for a sale?
I realize we're not all loaded, but do you even get enough time off from your job sewing soccerballs in the back of an abandoned warehouse to play these games you want to go on sale?
<3 if you were trolling.
Zeitgeister said:September 1st is a bit over the top. The basis premisse we're talking about here is a summer sale in early july, basically next week. There is little need to make a bet beyond that very limited window of time, because there is no other major statement being contested.
If I were to agree to your range, I would increasing my bet exponentially to include statements (like: "there will be a sale in august") that are irrelevant to my bet as that was meant (a weak cop-out, I realise) to be relevant only to the statement "there will be a summer sale early july / end of june".
Now, I will put my money where my mouth is, but I do ask for the range to be augst 1th, as to only include the month of july.
Should I win, I will wait for the month of august to pass before calling it, in order to fit you range.
It can't be a daily deal since it doesn't end till the 30th.mikespit1200 said:Has anyone posted this? First of some daily deals for the summer sale? Kinda weird since they already posted the weekend deals. Unless its a standard daily.

Not a daily, extra content was released for it yesterday. Just a deal they have going.mikespit1200 said:Has anyone posted this? First of some daily deals for the summer sale? Kinda weird since they already posted the weekend deals. Unless its a standard daily.

Disappointing that he released the game in that state. I refuse to put down money on games that look that low res (I hated it in the demo).Foliorum Viridum said:Full screen doesn't work for me for some reason. It's not a graphical powerhouse though so if you don't mind the really shit native resolution it's not that important. It looks like a less striking Limbo.
Edit: It's a common problem, apparently: http://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?topic=4448.0
The next block to appear was always outlined on the edge of the board. I 100% the game and I never thought it was cheating. Some of the puzzles were frustrating when I needed a block of a certain type and it wasn't giving it to me, but those were never limiting in any way. If I finished it in 50 moves or 500 it was the same reward.Gvaz said:That game sucked. The AI blatently cheats and it's a poor man's Puzzle Quest 2.
I did like it to a specific level but it just got stupid with the ai cheating and trying to use a new hero to level him up as you go along.

You have bought the base game on Steam, and Vietnam somewhere else - this works. The Vietnam expansion will not be visible in the Steam client, but you can access it in-game.
I agree, but I don't think it's solely about purchasing power. Very few people have the budget to buy every neat looking game that comes out. But a sale can be an enabler. It's easier to justify the purchase.cicero said:Come on now, as if maximizing your purchasing power is some completely off the wall motive?? Waiting for a sale is ENTIRELY legitimate and reasonable.
