Dang, I wasn't planning on spend more money for awhile, but I can't resist Zeno Clash at $3.75. I don't think it went that low during the sale.

Its a great game. Some of the best first person combat you can play.

10/10, and so far haven't seen anyone in the steam forums with 10/10 that have a few of the games in my wishlist (like Dead Space, The Witcher Enhanced Edition, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, or GTA Liberty City Episodes).
There's hundreds of thousands (if not more) participants though, so it's really unlikely that I'll win, but until the end of the day I just can't stop being hopeful that I might win. xD

10/10, so I have a chance. I only saw one for Sims Medieval (I really should have gone over my wishlist before the end), so I wonder if that could mean anything. Doubt it, but it's nice to want things.

All of my wishlisted games are on there!

There are only two BttF prize winners and three Hunted prize winners. Really hoping I'm one of them! *crosses fingers tightly*

10/10 and I had Red Orchestra 2 (3), NBA 2K11 (2) and both DeathSpanks (1) on my list! Yeah, I ain't winning. But dare to dream, I say.

Gamersgate is running an Ubisoft week. Tomorrow's sale seems it's going to be RUSE (70% off). It's a steamworks game, so I assume that the CD key can be activated on Steam.

On an unrelated note, could someone tell me if there is an (easy) way to see how many Mac games do I have on my library? (Or to put it with other words... If I had a Mac, how would my steam library look like?).
I have a fairly large amount of games (>300) on steam and some of them are steamplay, but I don't know which ones (and how many) I have, and I don't have the time (and interest) to browse game by game.

... the won games list having only 1 entry for a game you picked doesn't actually increase your chances of winning.

Also there is no Santa Clause and people aren't generally good people. Also you can't be president.

Anyway, since I have Deathspank on my Wishlist I'm guaranteed to win!!!

I can be president.

That's because they are adopting the EA online pass system.... which is completely meaningless on PC as all copies are new.
I actually like the achievements/points system in Conviction and Forgotten Sands. Way better achievement system than steam. *ducks*

Hah I think most people know that. Let us have our fun while we can still joke about it.

Right, after we all realize that we haven't won THEN you can be all 'Ha ha, you all thought you would win!'

You like games to have like 4 achievements?

No, but I like that they mean something and have points attached to them.
Steam ones feel so hollow.

edit: I really wish I wasn't pulling an all nighter tonight :(
I really want to play Cthulhu.

Unfortunately, points only have perceived value if they're scarce. This means that Valve would need to impose Xbox Live-style point limits, and from there it's a short logical jump to segregating games based on the maximum number of points they can have, as is done on Xbox (AAA games have a 1000-point limit, XBLA games have a lower limit). I very much prefer the way Steam does it right now, where $3-10 indie stuff is promoted right alongside $50 AAA games.

I love how "AAA Games" can mean pretty much anything at this point.

Such a useless term.

(Note: I actually agree that the way the 360 limits XBLA game's achievements compared to retail products is absolutely garbage).

I'd be happy with X points per title, regardless of size. I think Indies would actually have a leg up in that case because the games are usually smaller and thus would give more points per time invested. Usually. Super Meat Boy and VVVVVV notwithstanding.

Because you've been able to open tabs in the in-game overlay for months.

Haha, touche. Someone complained the other day about that missing still, when I posted the patch note about them adding ctrl+f search to the browser.

Not from right-clicking a link to do so. Thats new, and something I've been wanting for a long time.

Man, my PC blew up a week and a half ago and I've just got it back up and running tonight.

I forgot how much I bought on the sale, almost. I need to crack on with The Witcher tomorrow and put some serious time into BC2 online.
