@Sidewinder, can't find any recent patch notes but plenty of complaints about the patching system for this game on Steam. However, my father-in-law has a standalone copy and every few years when he gets a new computer I am reminded how PITA it is to patch the game.
It has like 3 levels..
It's also a bad game, but I'll admit that my perception of it is coloured by the loathsome Portal 2 ARG levels.
Ah, I didn't have the (mis?)fortune of playing those. I don't know if I'd call it bad (though it certainly isn't GOOD) I just thought your post was interesting since the game can be 'beaten' in about a half hour.

Civ V Nights, a Civ V vanilla total conversion mod, adds a clock to the "Next Turn" button. Also there may be a mod to include that in Civ V vanilla in the Steam Workshop.

I just spent about 150 minutes on the final boss.
I have to beat it still.
Fucking Zealot mode is the bane of my dead space 2 existence. I was playing it all wrong though; I wanted to kill everything I found, but I soon realized I should just keep running and stasis and just... Stop wasting ammo so much. Fuck all the necromorphs. Especially fuck their 'black/stronger' variants.
