Dawn of War Platinum is on sale, but it doesn't activate on Steam, and a discount of 50% is on the low side regardless. The Medley aside, you're better off waiting for Steam's Christmas/Winter Sale if you're after THQ titles.

Went to my local Game first thing yesterday morning and traded in 8 PS3 games by getting them to price match CEX's trade-in prices (for a few of them, got double what Game would've given without the price match..).

Paid exactly 40p and walked away with a £50 Steam Wallet code. Felt good.

I did the same thing last week, took in a slip of paper with the CEX prices on, and got them to price match. It came to £99, so I added the extra £1 and bought two £50 Steam wallets. I left the shop beaming, some of those games were just on my shelf for months. CEX trade-in prices are astoundingly good.

Go to properties and then in "set launch options" put this:

-width 1920 -height 1080 -norestrictions -nomemrestrict

Remove the width/height part if it's not working for you.

That's GTAIV PC in a nutshell. If I don't restart the game after changing a setting, the framerate is literally halved.

Yeah, I'd been waiting for Viking to hit the ~$5 mark, too. I also picked up M&M: Clash of Heroes, while London 2012 can be my void-filling game if the deals on Steam this week are largely of no interest to me.

Dwarfs hasn't been in any bundle from what I know. There is a f2p version of the game in steam. The only difference is that it only got the main game without the dlcs

After some searching it was in the be mine bundle 3 or something earlier this year, the reason I want it is so that I don't have to install it lol. Simply owning unlocks this awesome axe in Killing Floor.

Going the F2P route you have to actually install it which requires .NET3.5 and XNA, not installing those right now and there are issues with .NET 4 installed simultaneously ie the current version, etc etc. Easier to just buy, will find on sale.
