Woah.

This sale period is awful timing, just bought a RIft so I'm somewhat limited and Barnes and Noble is having the semi-annual half-off sale on Criterions. Not enough money to go around on my part :D

Ubi jumped straight into my bad books when it held its publisher sale two months earlier than usual (March rather than May). I'd just purchased a second 670 and a bunch of games (thanks, Dunder!), so the best I could do was pick up some Anno 2070 DLC, the AssCreed 2 Prima Guide, and the Brothers in Arms pack.

I actually bought New Vegas twice. First for PS3 before I had a gaming PC, then again recently when Get Games Go had that 2 Bethesda games for $15.

Still haven't played it though. Will get to it eventually, I'm sure

Really do! I double dipped as well, got it for 360 first and spent ages just gambling in the casinos. That said I've barely touched it on pc

Steam-Gaf help me :(. Cant get past Rapture Dark world 5-15X in Super Meat Boy. Its the last level i have to beat, but some worms are blocking the path so i cant get past them soon enough to prevent getting destroyed by the wave. Is it glitched for me? Or am i too stupid?

Remember playing it on 360 and i hadnt these problems. Also YT-videos i watched show the level layout different

probably not the right place to ask (pc thread instead) but do you suffer microstutter with those 2 cards? thinking about ONE DAY putting in a second 780 in my machine but every other time ive gone sli (granted, only 3 times in my life) ive experienced anything between bad to untolerable microstutter.

Can't say that I've noticed anything out of the ordinary since I began using SLI. I thought I was seeing microstutter in Far Cry 3, however once I disabled DX11 multithreading in the game's config file, it ran like butter... and stopped crashing just about every time I fast-travelled somewhere.

Boone: "What the hell? I won't side with someone who helps the Legion."

Me: "Relax, I'm just pretending to help them to get the glasses with +Luck so I can gamble more effectively."

Boone: "Excuses. This is the last time we'll have this talk."

Try enabling Vsync if it's off? Seems like a weird timing error with the worms as I just tried the level out and by the time I get there the floor worm is out of the way and the ceiling one has hidden away in the crevice.

Boone was such a caring person

Ugh, the Hangar card for Really Big Sky is stuck at 73 cents. Not going to pay that *hand shakes*

Still, I remember the good ol days when I was selling cards for two dollars. How quickly it all fell apart ;-;

Dumb question: but how do i enable Vsync? There is no option in the SMB menu for that. Console gamer here, dont hang me ;)

It may see a general sale discount, but given last year's Winter Sale, I wouldn't expect it to be a Daily or anything of the sort.

Let's test this, shall we?

Why not wait for summer sale, especially when it's so close?

Sale starts tomorrow? My god I need to fill my wallet and fast.
Bought so much "useless" stuff during gmg sales and now it's going to happen again :p

I've added everyone who's posted their profile links (and sent group invites to those who weren't in it). There's also the 2011 Steam ID list thread, but the OP of that doesn't get updated and it seems nobody who adds their name goes back and adds the people who posted before them, so...

Feel free to add me. The Community page is a lot more interesting when you have lots of friends feeding it.

Is Dungeon Crawler the proper name for genre games such as Grimrock?
I'd say so, though I don't think "dungeon crawler" is a universally-recognized genre so it'll probably just be called an RPG by some.

Sent a bunch of Steam friend requests to you guys who have posted profile links in the past page or two. Cheers! The more the merrier, etc.

Hah, just noticed that they changed the Offspring Fling  emoticon. RIP FrankerZ

I'll assume you're on Nvidia here, but go into the Nvidia Control Panel, go to "Manage 3D settings" in the navigation tree on the left, select the "Program Details" tab in the main view, then check out the dropdown menu there. If the SMB executable isn't there, add it using the button next to the dropdown menu, then once that's done scroll down the list and select Vsync and change it from "Use global setting" to "On". Hit apply, and SMB should start up with vsync enabled.

Being completely honest if you don't like FPSes HL2 probably won't do much for you. The only thing that really sets it apart gameplay wise is the gravity gun (allows you to pick up most objects and shoot them with enough force to kill) which honestly is what made the game fun to me. But yeah, that's it really.

Save it for the summer sale!

For members in the US, or any country that sells Steam wallet codes:

When you buy a Steam wallet code do pay e.g. $20 for $20 of funds or do shops slightly discount the card so you pay e.g. $19 for a $20 code?

I have often saved a few pounds buying PSN cards (UK) and just wondered really.

It's always been $20 for $20 from what I've seen, no more no less.
