Yeah, it's a surprisingly good game. I quite liked the pre-combat stealth parts with the Bow.

It would be great for all of the games in the series. If not for Nintendo, then Bayonetta, Vanquish, and Valkyria Chronicles are not getting sequels and could use the sales boost. Not sure about VF.

Got my Stormbringer run done on MGR:R (note: if you're doing this, you MUST finish R07 last with S ranking).

However, I am now flabbergasted at the horror of Sam's DLC achievements for Revengeance runs and no damaging the final boss. I don't think I'll ever get them... it's just a massacre.

Yep. Definitely don't like the character select, and some sounds seem off (like the "go forward" indicator, or the laser from the second boss), but nothing that would ultimately detract me from a purchase.

Some of these achievements are terrible though; throw 300 grenades, play 100 times as each character, save 1000 POWs, how dull. There is one for doing a 1CC so that'll be fun at least.

Metal Slug 3 is pretty great, though. I hope the whole Metal Slug collection (that was actually released for PC a few years ago) will make it onto Steam eventually.

edit: Though if the ports are weird.. eh.

Imagine if there was a game that had great voice acting, a sort of interesting story, combat that was linear, graphics like League of Legends or DOTA, and gameplay kind of like a stripped down Dragon Age.

It's Aarklash Legacy.

Ironically, the same company made the game Confrontation. I only tried it for a little bit but I wish I could trade my copy of confrontation for aarklash :|

Tonight I both beat the Capra Demon in Dark Souls and unlocked The Kid in Super Meat Boy. I dont think I'll have a more accomplished time playing games in a while. I'd forgotten how damn fantastic Super Meat Boy is, too. It actually complimented Dark Souls fairly well, both being challenging but not unfair (most of the time). Damn good night.

Aside from that, I noticed that the Current Players for Resident Evil 4 (steam) is at 1. Probably a dev/tester, but still damn jealous.
