Supposedly in the Mac beta, there is evidence of Linux support:

Also, the Steam store is now checking for Linux OS when downloading client:

Bought Invisible War, criminal not to for that price, despite being the hideous turd that it is.

Steam is already platinum-grade on WineHQ, though native support is always nice.

Yeh yeh, makes total sense. When Crash Course came out for the first L4D, the game went up for 50% off. Haven't picked the game up yet myself so...here's hoping!

D'oh, old.

Wonder if the weekend deal will go up today though, might just be L4D2 because of the DLC release :p

It was just on sale like a few weeks ago with a permanent price drop. I know valve loves to give away their games for next to nothing, but come on, let some other games get a chance.

It's not like Valve would be preventing other games from having a deal. I'm pretty sure they have to get the ok from the publisher to do a temp price cut anyways.

Yeah, Audiosurf was pretty much everything I ever wanted a music game to be. This is just a kinda cool idea.

You dicks. IW isn't too bad in relation to a lot of other games that were coming out in that year.
But he said "hideous turd" thus implying that he fucking hates the game.

I don't know about you but I don't spend money on games I hate if I already know I hate them.

Man Beat Hazard was trash to me. Could barely see my ship, with all the random multicolored shots. Definitely not a game for me, Audiosurf reigns supreme.

L4D2 is 33% off ($21)

I guess that's the weekend deal then, makes sense considering there's a new update out today. I am dissapointed tough, L4D2 hasn't been on sale so many times it's not even funny.

Like 16 games developed by Big Fish Games was added. Many of them seem to be P&C adventure games.

They're all of the Hidden Object variety, if you're into that kind of thing. Not me. If you want a real Point & Click adventure, Dark Fall is the real deal. I haven't played it, but Jonathon Boakes other games have been great.

God I hate steam.

Yeesh, be more bitter. People get so worked up over these things. It's like "why can't they give me something to spend money on!" Pass on the deal and wait on the next one. Easy peasy.

I could never get into Audiosurf because I wanted it to be Amplitude. To each his own.

I agree, Audiosurf just didn't feel natural to me. I love listening to music and i love games but that game didn't bridge the two for me at all. I only played Frequency but i enjoyed that more than Audiosurf.

I like AudioSurf but didn't get into it like I have BeatHazard. A new amplitude would rock though ='(

Any US GAF wanna do me a favour? I hear Medal of Honor: Airborne is only $10 on the US Steam store, but it's still over double that price on the UK store. Anyone wanna gift me it and I'll Paypal them the money?

Found this on Steam forums.
Greetings from the TF2 boards! As most of you are well aware we have "popular patches" released every few months in the form of class updates. And each time (even more so with the WAR update the other month) Steam gets borked royally causing no end of fun for those of us that just want to play with the new content.

But fear not my zombie killing brothers for I have a solution! Simply open Steam, click your Steam dropdown, select "Settings", click the "Downloads" tab, and use the region to somewhere where the server load isn't so severe (protip: France is lovely this time of year.).

When you are finished downloading the patch simply switch back to your original settings and go massacre the undead.

Gentlemen.

Worked for me, now getting max speed.

Wow. Worked like a charm. :lol

EDIT: Just tried Beat Hazard. Jesus Christ, it can get pretty intense/insane/where the fuck am I/what the fuck am I shooting at pretty quickly. Very different than Audiosurf but I like it.
