The original LEGO City Undercover only allowed you to invert the Y-axis camera. If the PC version is the same it gets the sub-$5 brand from me regardless if I can fix it.

If you extrapolate this out, lifetime sales would be 61% PS4, 39% PC. Not PC as primary platform, but also not "PS4 sells 4 times PC!!!". My guess would be that PC has a slightly longer sales tail (albeit probably at increasingly lower margins), so I would guess it ends up being a 50/50 unit split or better for PC long term. *shrug*

Honestly, it's not a question if PC will outsell PS4, it's just a question of how soon.
Sales of most console games crater after first month, while PC keeps on chugging, one sale/bundle at a time.

Also, I'd consider Squeenix's margins to be higher when getting a 75% off sale on Steam/Humble, then when Gamespot resells the PS4 disc.

Steam Controller says hi.

I can't decide if I should upgrade my GTX 780 next year, or if I should upgrade my i5 4K/4T CPU. What would give my games better performance.

I meant to write Steam Controller API. Which works with just about any actual physical controller on PC, and allows you to rebind the axes.

Oh yea, thanks; I fully expect to be able to get it working but I would hold off buying it based on the time-honored tradition of spite. Like all the games where I have to find an .ini file to disable the motion blur.

Plus $50 is stupid overpriced.

yay it's my birthday and...

...uh what happened about Nier sales or something?

Happy b-day Doggie!

So this is the second consecutive Mass Effect game where EA is trying a post-release salvage.

I guess that bodes well for another ME game in the future.

That is the day I avoid Neogaf for a good few days. Gaming side will be a trash fire and will probably leak into the community side as well.

haha i wonder if Shenmue 1+2 would even review well in modern days and I think Yu Suzuki will try to stick to the same design philosophy, it'll make the fans happy, but will reviewers love it?

There were things I don't like about Shenmue even back when they first came out, so I'm curious.

780 / 220 is 3.5, not 4.

Game has been out for 4 weeks on PS4 globally, 5.5 weeks on PS4 in Japan, 2 weeks on PC globally. Let's count Japan as 1/4 of global audience and so we treat it being 4.4 global weeks of PS4 release, 2 weeks on PC.

780 / 4.4 = 177k per week
220 / 2 = 110k per week

177 / 110 = 1.60.

If you extrapolate this out, lifetime sales would be 61% PS4, 39% PC. Not PC as primary platform, but also not "PS4 sells 4 times PC!!!". You also need to keep in mind these numbers are wrong for many reasons:
First, Steamspy numbers are sold while SE figure is shipped, which also includes some PC physical versions. We're comparing orange and apples here.
On these 1M copies, some are still on shelves. On these 220k steam copies, all of these are sold.

I thought Arkham Origins was a good game?

I'm guessing it's just Jim Sterling and that he doesn't like the WB gameplay.

There's the Batman™: Arkham Origins Blackgate which I think is kind of bad for control problems as it was made for handhelds iirc

I just want to know if people willingly play THQ Nordic games.

Darksiders was the only game I willingly got a platinum trophy on the ps3 for and I bought it again steam but that was because of it being a game inspired/created with the help of Joe Madureira

I've played basically all of their games

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
Arkham Origins is great. It's a refined Arkham City-like where the combat is challenging.

It got shit on its release for:

Having bugs (which all the Arkham games have with some more catastrophic than anything in Origins)

Not being developed by Rocksteady (and appearing as a quick cash-in)

Not having the voice talent of the mainline series

Presenting a boss fight where you have to pay attention to win.

for arkham orgy I honestly couldn't think of another complaint outside of the initial bugs and the minor deliberately change with counter (I think you can't cancel your moves with counter? I don't even remember lol), but the boss fights are actually pretty decent especially compared to the other Arkham games, I mean sure you can like the game less than the other arkham games but I feel like the hate is so exaggerated.

Does anyone know any good gaming laptop I should get that runs sfv or killer instinct? I couldn't find any pc related threads so I wanted to ask here.

I just sold an item on the community market, a card that I first listed in 2014. I guess it is worth it to just leave things up there hoping someone buys a dumb foil at a $1.

Oh hi
Didn't know this was timed-exclusive.

It's supposedly really good.

While not much in replay value, unless you like pixel hunting, it's a good experience for being "detective' Batman. Also part of the Arkham Night story, so it fits in for those that want slightly more story, even if it doesn't change anything.
