No reason it should be against Steam's TOS - it's just publishers giving free GOG versions of games if you have the Steam version. Akin to EA automatically registering Origin versions of games if it finds the Steam version on your PC. It very definitely could be an issue for their future sales though, considering a vocal number of their users double-dip on DRM-free versions of games they already have on Steam. I wouldn't be surprised if it quietly died out because of that.

I can get a fairly solid 30fps with Hitman on a GTX 670. It's probably on all low settings, but on a 1080p display it doesn't look bad at all.

Oh nice, Deus Ex at 18.00 CEST? Looks like I'll get a few hours in tomorrow, didn't expect that after the Steam timer said 21.00 originally I think.

Is there any info on how long Divinity: OS 2 is supposed to be in Early Access?

I loved BD but I knew deep down that that take away the over the top 80s coat of paint and I'd probably hate it so I never bothered to pick up Far Cry 3 or 4.

Kinda wanna try 2 as a curiosity though because of how much the Idle Thumbs podcast is obsessed with it.

BD was kinda boring once you got past the aesthetic. I thought FC3 was the much better title from a gameplay standpoint.

I a oided fc3 mainly due to derrick mentioning how the gameplay and upgrade system wete pretty poor

Yeah if you didn't care for TR13 you probably won't like FC3. There's quite a bit of "hunting" early on to get materials to upgrade your storage, ammo capacity, etc. There aren't too many actual weapons, with better ones unlocking if you take out outposts and the like.

I agree 100%

I wan't interested in FC3, but BD sucked me in with its 80s-ness and I enjoyed the hell out of it, so I decided to seek out the base game it was based on.

To my surprise it blew me away. My GOTY.

I figured the PC unlock time would be like that since they added that Dota 2 voice pack bonus and it had that same time listed to receive it

Doesn't make the whole situation any less stupid...XB1 gets it at midnight...PS4 is 3 hours later... and PC 9 hours after that

2 is the most fun and immersive. You can just feel the 100+ degree heat walking around. It has a dynamic buddy system that has hidden mechanics, branching missions, great gunplay and fire propagation, and an interesting more true-to-life story.

People are divided certainly. I'm surprised how many people mention Primal. I thought that wasn't received well at all. I couldn't run it well enough when I got it so I didn't play it much.
